How much is your 2016 Disney vacation going to cost you?

Just booked flights out of Detroit for $2700 return for the five of us.
Gas and parking to and from Detroit~ $150.00
7 nights at Yacht Club at $386/night in a garden view room $2700ish
7 day park hopper tickets with water parks too. $1863
Dining oop/spending $1800

So about $9000 right now, trying not to even think about the exchange rate with the Canadian $.

ASMovies 1/9-1/11: $260.
AKL 1/11-1/17: $1000 (cannot find exact, may have been like $950, bought from member and our dad got them as my mom's birthday gift.
AofA 1/17-1/20: $426
6 day tickets for DH, DS4 and I: $1017.09
ECV ; $200
stroller: $70
food, budgeting $1000, some snacks and all breakfast will be in our room, probably $100 on groceries, less if we can. hoping not more!
Souvenirs: No idea, planning on $500 for us, because there's things in mind we want to look at like light sabers. Debating the ears. Really just want some mugs and an ornament or two.
airfair: $618 for us 3 from Minnesota, MSP to MCO
Car rental and gas for 1 day, budgeting $150 since I don't have the rental yet.

So $4623 thus far, though with tipping and maybe a nice dinner or two we'll probably be around $5,000.

For the AofA room $426, the tickets $1017, food and souvenirs $1500 though I'll only get about $1200...I've been buying Disney cards through Target. I've bought and used $1200 in gift cards already for a $60 savings, so all told it'll be $2400 in gift cards with savings of $120. I've also been stocking up Target gift cards, buy something, get a $5 or $10, $25, $40 gift card. I've used those and had maybe $150 there total on stuff I'd have bought anyway. So when all is told, about $270 saved which was enough to cover the stroller and ECV.

2 adults and 2 teens:
8 Nights POR June 17 - 25 with 7 day MYW tickets, plus one bonus waterpark day $2625
Food/Drink/Souvenirs $1800
Gas to/from WI $350
Dog sitter $300
Misc $125

Total: $5200

Feb. 27-March 5. 2 Disney adults, 1 Disney child, 1 Disney "baby." Approx $2700 for trip. Includes: 7 nights standard room at Pop (booked thru Orbitz), 5-day tickets booked thru Undercover Tourist and airfare for four on Southwest from MKE (using partial vouchers from previous flight.) Food will be paid OOP.

I need to come back to this. Mine is confused because we bought APs in June 2015. We will take two trips in 2016 still using these APs. I won't count the AP price in the February trip because it wasn't taken into account when upgrading to AP

Feb 3-6 Budget (2 adults only)
3 nights Poly CL Garden View $1614.13
2 plane tickets from ATL $196.04
Souvenirs $75 (plus Rewards)
Extra Tips or Misc. $75
Trader Sam’s $125
Counter Service/snacks/drinks $120
Liberty Tree Tavern $59.83
Via Napoli $100
Ohana $110
Chefs de France $60
Narcoosee’s $220
Crystal Palace breakfast $60
TiW $0 (it paid for itself our last trip, so I won't count it)
TOTAL $2740-$40 saved by getting gift cards from Target=$2700
Maybe add $100 to upgrade my AP to the new version that includes Photo Pass downloads
Updated our Feb quick trip above.

June 2016, 2 adults, 1 junior, 2 children, 9 nights...will update as discounts come out

Room (6 nights AoA, Little Nemo) $2624.63
Room (3 nights, Beach Club) $1636.89
(Upgrade to APx3 $976.59)
Tickets 2 child (8 day) $692.26
Touring Plans $11
Prime Pantry/Groceries $141.88
Souvenirs $300 (plus Rewards)
Travel expenses (auto fuel, fast food) $325
Extra Tips or Misc. $200

Family Magic Tour $166.75
Eating Out $2625
TiW $0 (Our TiW paid for itself on our last trip, so I'm not counting it)
TOTAL $10,000

Yikes! Since we got our APs last June and we bought the other tickets several months ago, I was thinking the price would be similar to last year, but last year was $7500. However, last year was 8 nights and the children were 9, 2, and 2 as opposed to 10, 3, and 3 for 9 nights. I'm also hoping to get it down at least $500 with a room discount.
I guess since the APs are already purchased and the other 2 tickets have been purchased for some time, it was making me see the two vacations as being more similar in price.

We won't be booking anything until Free Dining comes out for December 2016. But early estimates factoring in 14 nights at CSR, 10 day hoppers for 3, FD, flights from western Canada for 3, spending money, misc costs, and 1.4 exchange rate on CDN dollar were looking at about $12,000.

booked 9/17-10/1 at Pop century w/ free QS dining bounceback. 10 day water park option & park hopper tickets.

room 1 - 2 adults, 2 juniors (adults for tickets/dining) $3991.46
room 2 - 3 adults. $3662.76
airfare for all 7 (waiting to purchase when Southwest releases our dates) - expect to be around $1,750
additional food money (breakfast) $300 (we use snacks to offset)
spending money $750 (a lot of this is earned via our Disney Visa rewards)

Approx total cost for all 7 of us $10,454.22

End of August, 4 adults and 1 child
Room 7 nights Yacht Club, $1898
Tickets - Using non-expiring hopper tickets 2 park days, 2 water park days
Garden Grocer and/or Prime Pantry approximately $150
Dining Out $1500
Souvenirs $250 plus some gift cards/reward dollars
Boat rental 45 minutes $60 (approximately)
Airfare approximately $1250

I'm expecting around $5500

Staying solo for one week in May at POFQ. Still have my AP from last August, so admission is free (this is an extra trip that DH gave me for Christmas). I found a dirt cheap flight on SW and used points for it -
So airfare is $11. Used an Orbitz discount code for POFQ - that's $1,413 for 7 nights. Other than that, I'll do food booths at Epcot F&G and QS. I do have breakfast Pre open ADRs at BOG a couple of days - that'll Be $20 each. So, I figure the whole trip will cost about $1,700 (including some adult beverages)

November 6-13, 7 nights at POFQ with 7 day park hopper passes for 2 adults and 2 kids $3261

I am waiting for jet blue to release my dates, but I am estimating $1600 airfare

$100 stroller rental

$100 airport parking

Total $5061 plus food which I have no idea what we will spend. My kids are 5 and 3 so we will probably be doing mostly quick service, but I want to book some character meals too.

Way too much!!

One bedroom villa at BWV for 8 nights: $3320
Tickets for 5 people: $2175
Flights: Southwest points so $50 or so in fees
Food/Drinks/Spending: $2000

So right around $7500....definitely more than we have spent previously.

I should have my husband read this thread so I can prove that we are doing this trip on the cheaper end!

5 adults ( Parents, kids aged 20 and 22 and a girlfriend aged 20)
5 nights in Art of Animation Cars Family Suite = $1346.65 (utilizing military salute discount)
5 Four Day Hopper Passes = $962.50 ( utilizing military salute tickets)
Food Budget = $1500.00 ( first time in a long time without paying for the dining plan. I think I can keep it closer to $1000)
Misc.= $100 ( we aren't big souvenir buyers , but I do like an ornament and any park specific Tervis Tumblers)
Gas/Motel 1 night/ travel day food= $500 Driving from New Orleans and will need a motel on the way there, but not on the way back.

Budgeted for $4409. but hoping it is more like $3900.

1799$....that includes room for 7 nights, airfare, tickets.....my half of the room anyway....I'm going with a friend and her husband. I also have 1200 saved up for spending money....

I usually run about $8000 when it is all said and done (including air and spending money).
That's if we all go. My last trip was a shorter one and only my three youngest came and it was about $4000 total.

These threads always make me so jealous :) But I suppose we are coming from Ireland, 5 Disney 'adults', and we do stay for 3 weeks. Oh and we go at Christmas and like Deluxe resorts. Hmm, guess that's why it costs so much :)

Last year was:
Flights $5400
Car Hire $1000
BWI (7n, incl tickets and 'free' dining) $7500
HRH (5n incl parking) $2000
Universal Tickets and food $2000
BC (9n, incl tickets and 'free' dining) $6100

grand total of $24,000

Next on will probably be close to $30k but we are doing WDW, UO and DL.

We have 5 adults, 2 Disney adults, and 1 child.
10 nights/11 days

Rounded to the nearest dollar

2 bedroom savanna view villa, Kidani Village (rented DVC points) $5010
Flights: Southwest including fees and early bird. 4 free with points. $1177
Food: $3500 (doing quite a few character/princess meals for the 7 year old)
Tickets: 9 day park hopper $3410
Airport parking: $100
Souvenir, drinks, misc: 1000

Total: $14,197

We are DVC Members, so the room is paid for.
We are Annual Pass Holders so the tickets are already paid for.
We will just need to pay for food and other misc items.
Love our DVC Membership!
