I love this thread! I'm glad I'm not the only one who forks out thousands for a Disney vacation yearly, which in my eyes is worth EVERY penny. So here is our plans for myself and 11 year old DS.

Trip dates 6/13-6/21

1 night stay at AoA 6/13-6/14 $166.60 (staying here 1 night to save some $$ since our flight doesn't get in till a little after 8pm)
7 night stay at AKV Kidani in a standard studio (rented points) $1276
7 night QS DDP for the 2 of us $526.60
8 day park passes with hopper $756
Round trip airfare from Philly $538

Total trip = $3263.20

It might seem like a lot to some but when I started pricing out trips to go to the jersey shore for a week during the summer, renting a house alone for a week was going to cost close to $2000 or more!!! After seeing that going to Disney was a no brainier for me!!! :goodvibes

Beach club - one room 6 nights, 2nd room for mom and mil 4 nights:
3000.

Park hoppers for me,dw,ds,mom and mil:
1500 (apx)

Good lord.

We don't normally spend this much on a vacation. This is our one time only do Disney the way we always wanted vacation.

Praying for a Discount to come out!

We were planning to back this year but ultimatey decided that we wanted a week on a beach instead. So, we're going to HH (not Disney's resort) and we are going to spend the week swimming and sleeping in and eating seafood. But.....my virtual trip to WDW was very expensive! We were staying CL at the Poly. :yay:

Next year we will have to see! I'm thinking WL for 2 adults, 2 kids, no DDP, Park Hoppers.

$6700 ish

Two adults, three kids: 14, 12 and 5. 7 night stay in a Cars room at AoA mid May, 8 day park hopper tickets, the regular dining plan (1 TS, 1 QS):

a bit over $5500. Haven't figured out spending money or gas money for the drive down yet.

Our trip a few years back when the 5 year old was 18 months old and we stayed at the Pop on the same dining plan cost us $2500 and we had a $200 gift card with our package. It's kind of disheartening that having one kid bump to adult prices and another who is a kid and no longer an infant nearly doubles the price but alas. We'll enjoy having the extra room in the suite.

2 adults, 1 child, 8 nights at CBR, DDP, 8 days park hoppers $3400

3 RT flights from Kansas City, a bargain at $ 720 (even if we do fly out at 5 AM, ugh)

Budgeted $ 1200 for souvenirs and misc.
