How much is the "fill a Mr Potato Head box" at Disneyland?

Wondering if anyone knows how much it costs to fill a box with Mr Potato Head pieces?

Mine was $18 and there is a larger one for something like $36, I believe. If you are in doubt about being able to fit all the parts you want, ask a Cast Member in the store to help you. They are experts at stuffing the boxes so you can get maximum tater-age! You can get more parts in the boxes if you skip buying the actual Potato Head/body - that can be purchased at any toy store. The Disney accessories are the key items to get!

Well, you can fill the box with a smaller Potato head/body and parts for $18, but if you want the jumbo head, then it is $45 (that seems like it went up in price since I was last there!). It is just that I think it is more worthwhile to actually stuff the box with parts rather than the smaller Potato head because you can get that anywhere.

That's right. But I've never had a Potato Head before in my life.. which is why my boyfriend decided to get the bigger potato head so I can also get the potato head along with as many parts we could fit. In October, just buying the box & filling it with the parts, is my plan

That is the best way to do it, to skip getting the small Potato head and cramming it into the box, and just get the parts instead. It is a waste of space to put Potato Head in that box when that size head can be purchased anywhere. But the giant head is not necessarily in every store, so that is probably more a more worthwhile purchase.

Definately just get the parts. The potato head you can get at target for $6! I have bought two boxes and last time got the giant potato head. I love my potato head. Right now they(I have two now) are dressed as darth vader and an imperial storm trooper. I got all the pieces from DL and WDW. Disney always gets new pieces too, so I always fill up a box when I go.

The Potato Heads were popular before, but I imagine that now, with the TSMM ride being open and hugely successful, the Potato Heads are probably in hot demand. As it is, it can get a little crowded over in the areas where you assemble your boxes of Potato parts, so it could be a madhouse now!

If you WANT to buy a head there, fill the potato up before putting him in your box and then cram as many parts around it. We did this once because the arms at Disney are a little wonky-they won't stay in on our other potatoes!
