How much is the DDP? What about AP?

So, how much is the DDP? What happens if I get 1 AP to get a discount on the room? Does that have any affect on the DDP?

Now I could be wrong, but it is my understanding the only way that you can get the DDP is if you purchase a package deal through Disney.

The only way that I know that you can purchase the DDP by itself is if you are staying DVC. Being a DVC member we always pay for the DDP regardless of if it's the free dining period or not.

Please correct me if I'm wrong guys...

The Magic Your Way Dining Plan can only be purchased as follows:

You must purchase a Magic Your Way vacation package at a Disney resort for your entire party with at least one day's park admission. The number of days for the Dining Plan will equal the number of nights you have reserved your room on the package. SomeDisney Resorts that I know do not offer the plan: Swan and Dolphin

To get DDP you must purchase rooms at rack rate as part of a MYW package. Thus, you could not use AP room discount at the same time.
