to buy or to rent.. and is it worth it.. it seems like it would be a hasle to carry around the parks....

Kid dont like to carry themselves let alone something else...

do you mean Pal Mickey? If so, it's about $60 in the park. There is another thread for a discounted Mickey for about $28 plus s/h. Mickey is not that big and even comes with a clip so you could clip the Mickey to your belt so it's easy to carry around. I believe you can rent Mickey in the parks but I am unsure of the rental fee. Actually, now that I am thinking about it, I think they have discontinued that practice.

boucheresq is right about the prices. We got one from the outlet for DD to play with, and he's the cutest thing! We didn't have any problems taking him around the parks, either. We all took turns carrying him on our lanyards (I had forgotten the clip, but the lanyards worked really well), and having him buzz when he had something to talk about. DD loved the games he plays, too!
