How much is Disney charging for points....

How much is Disney charging for points now? I thought they were like $80+ a point but what is it? I am just curious. I know each resort gets charged different amounts and such. I am pretty sure they are out of our price range......

You can get AKV for $96 a point ($104 - $8 discount), and there may be a few points left at SSR for $94 a point ($104 - $10 discount).

As for add-ons at the other resorts, I'm not too certain, but I would think they're close to the $104 mark.

Just spoke with MS on Mon or Tues. To buy at VWL through Disney it would be $101/pt.

Resale prices vary and can be found in the $80-$90 range.

Don't forget to DO your homework....its not just the "posted/face" $$ your paying...
...add in ALL the costs to know "actual"" $$ per pt you are paying with ALL reseller fees included.
Like who pays..closing fees, MF, lack of initial pts, stripped contract, getting your own financing, maybe/maybe not pass ROFR then the "wait".
There are good deals out there if you take your time/look for them and hopefully pass ROFR.

Compare it to Disney's price + fixed closing fee and making ressies within 2 weeks (for me, before closing). Then decide!!

Very good points! Always do your research , ask the questions you aren't sure if you should ask and then ask again. It can be intimidating, as does any real estate transaction.

I waited till I passed on ROFR and 2 wks. before closing before taking out my loan for my BWV contract. Too much at stake to do any of this early. I would never entertain a stripped contract. If it wasn't for a terrific price on this BWV ($79/pt. with current use year pts. back in 2007), I would have gone thru Disney and gotten previous yrs. pts. as well. This will be paid for in Sept...only 18 mos. of paymts. After this, I will go thru Disney.

They haven't been in the $80's for quite a while. It went up to $104 a point when AKV went on sale last year.
