How much is cab from LAX to Anaheim

I was about to book Supershuttle as a return trip from/to airport from CCI. The price of the shared service was $40 each way including a $8 discount thanks to OC website (theer are 3 of us).

There was a link to Tripadvisor and people on there said that the taxi fare is only slighly more. Is this true as we do like our own vehicle if possible but booking a sedan through Supershuttle is alamost double at $172 round trip.

In addition we had an issue last year where our flight turned back from UK due to tech difficulties (BA grrrr) - I had to ring shuttle service who amended our details to following day no problem but the cost of the phone call from a London airport hotel was $$$$ (well ££££) - as much as the cost as the one way shuttle itself.

Well..when the Surfliner train LEFT ME EVEN THOUGH I WAS STANDING THERE (I'll just never get past this..) I took a cab to the LA train station from Anaheim and it was $75.00. I don't know where the airport is in relation to the train station, but that's a starting point.

Yea, way more than $40. My wife and I took a taxi from our place in Long Beach to LAX one time and it was almost $60.
