Our wedding date is May 6 2011. Is it 90 days prior to that date everything has to be paid for? Or is Disney pretty good about letting you pay right up to the date?

Its a Wishes wedding. I believe in the paperwork that it said 90 days before the wedding, but then when we sat down the with wedding guy he said that Disney will work out things with in and not to follow the contract exactly. Is this one of those things or are they very firm on the 90 day payment? Im just asking because thats 3 extra months worth of paychecks we could use towards the wedding...

changes can continue to be made so i suppose you could downgrade somethings maybe and change your mind again up to a certain point, but my contract says 90 days before and i am not going to hope they decide to take it easy on us!!!:scared1:

You have to pay the remainder of the minimum 90 days before. Ex: our minimum is $10k so we have to pay $9k 90 days before the wedding ($1k of the minimum is your deposit). Anything over the minimum is paid 30 days before (if you wedding is going to cost $20k, then you would pay the other $10k 30 days before the wedding). Hope that makes sense!

Just had our wedding yesterday and the same applied too.

Yeah, I do believe that it's 30 days, but that is very firm. You can't pay right up until the wedding.

Our wedding is this August and those rules apply. You can use a charge card to make the payment though, so this will buy you a little extra time before you really make the payment depending on what your billing cycle is. And you also get lots of points for your credit card that you can use on other things. ;)
