Hello all,
Been a long time since I've been on the board as it's been a long time since I've been to Disney (last time was March 6, 2020 before this whole COVID thing really began, I left Florida on March 11 when the pandemic was declared globally...sorry lol).

I apologize if this question has been asked till the cows come home in individual threads but the lengthier ILL/G+ and RoTR threads didn't really answer the question I had. What I'm hoping to find out is, I plan to go to Disney again finally on my birthday in April (also first time I've ever been to a Disney park for my bday) but I know a lot has changed. Gone are the arriving at rope drop and waiting around on the MDE app to try and get a boarding time for RotR. I'm not a park hotel guest and thus am off-site, and HS won't be opening until 9am on that day according to the Disney site. So in all honesty, what is the likelihood of being able to get on RotR earlier in the day as I'm not likely to stay until park closing (I'd like to hop over to another park sometime after 2).

Also, is G+/ILL$ worth it for say Millennium or RotR if you're an off-site guest?

Again, apologies if this has been asked multiple times, if admins feel the need to close it I get it, but if anyone is able to even message me with a thread that does answer this question, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

The Everything Genie, Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane (ILL$) thread has the information in the first posts you're looking for.

Being an off-site guest you will not be able to purchase an ILL$. They are gone within seconds at 7AM and many onsite guests are locked out also. Once you arrive in the park there will already be a lengthy queue. I recommend watching your MDE app to see what the queue is by park opening.

It is possible to ride it but it will require waiting in the queue. How long will depend ont he day but watching the app will give you an idea what others have waited at similar times.

We were there 3 weeks ago and found G+ to be worth it for DHS. I did not purchase any ILL$ but chose to ride RotR at park close. We did standby for MFSR and probably waited 60-75 mins in the morning.
