How much has changed since 91-92? Are silhouettes available?

Hi everyone I have not been to Disney world since I was like 5 ..I'm hoping I will see something and it will unlock some kind of memory

For those that have been going for decades
Is there anything exactly the same since about 1991 maybe 1992? When I asked my mother what we did she said MK and epcot and I just made her take me on it's a small world over and over and over and over

Also does anyone know if silhouettes are available during these covid times and how it would work if so?

Silhouettes are available. There's a place over by the entrance to Liberty Square. With covid, they have you send them a picture of yourself/party. They will do the silhouette from the photo. They give you a time to return later and pick it up.

Many rides at MK are still there like they were in 91/92. Tea cups, carousel, Small World, Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, Pirates to name a few. Most have had tweaks to them, but essentially the same. Epcot is completely different. The whole of the center of Future World has been/is being demolished and re-imagined. Only Spaceship Earth, the American Adventure and Living with the Land remain as rides you might somewhat recognize from 91/92. The others have all been replaced entirely.

I went to Disney all through the 80s and 90s and then had a big gap - last trip as a “kid” was 1995 then I didn’t go again until 2014. It was really cool bc there were so many new things to see and do, but so many things were the same. It was a perfect balance of nostalgia and new-ness. @Fangorn covered it pretty well in terms of what’s the same.

There is probably very little that is the same as 1992. Heck, there is little the same as in 2011 when we first took our family.
