How much does the tooth fairy bring

!st tooth brought more than the rest of the regular teeth. 1st molar brought more and the last tooth brought a crisp $20. We just threw in whatever we had for the little ones after the 1st one-pocket full of change, a $1 bill...no pattern.

Ours leaves a gold dollar coin for "normal" teeth, but the first one also came with a little congratulations present. DS had waited a l-o-n-g time for that one.

This is how we do it too! We try to keep a stash of golden coins for just in case but we were caught by surprise by our younger daughter's first tooth coming out. She had spent the night at my mother in law's house and lost her tooth the next day. No big deal except that MIL neglected to tell us until we got there - 9 pm on a Sunday Nothing was open except WalMart (luckily) so DD got a mini nailpolish and new pj's as a gift. Older DD had received a Webkinz. Oh well, what can you do?

$5.00 for the first tooth. Each tooth after that got them either a silver dollar or a Sacagawea Golden Dollar Coin. They always got a kick out of that!

Our tooth fairy tends to give $1 bill, quarter, nickel, dime and penny and an occasional chuck e cheese token. My oldest got a gold $1 coin and a $2 bill for her first tooth. I was out when my youngest lost her first tooth. I guess dh didn't feel it was important enough to tell me and dd was already asleep so the tooth fairy didn't come. The next night I planned on making a big deal about the tooth fairy coming. Unfortunately that night ended with my older dd breaking her arm and us spending from 6 or so at night until 5 in the morning at the hospital thus younger dd once again missing the tooth fairy. Finally 3rd night the tooth fairy did come but dd was more excited about it being the first day of kindergarten.

The tooth fairy here is cheap but we don't care. It is a dollar for the first and 50 cents for the rest.
