how much does film cost

film cost at like target or wal-mart in orlando and also at a regular store in Orlando?? I have a digital camera but not a lot of memory space (only 96megs) so I would like to get a couple of rolls of film while i am there but I don't want to buy film here...its very expensive.

Usually in my area, I would add a little price increase for Orlando, not a whole lot though, for 4 pack of 200 speed its about $7, 400 speed 4 pack runs $9-10. Don't buy it in the park, I packed about 12 rolls this year, thought I had used them all (when I got home I discovered 2 rolls tucked away that I hadn't used) and bought a two pack in the park, it was almost $20.

I would probably go to Target or Wal Mart to buy your film. I don't think you would pay inflated prices at those kind of places.

I would buy another memory card or two and not buy any film. If you buy film then you have to worry about taking it through the scanner at the airport. It can fog your film and your pictures will be ruined. It is cumulative but it is so much easier using your digital camera.

Safetymom is right that you should look into buying more memory for your digital camera, but travelling with film is not terribly difficult.

If you buy your film in Orlando, definitely go to WalMart and buy Fuji film. Fuji has much brighter colors than Kodak and is far better for pics ar WDW. It's also far cheaper than Kodak.

Once you shoot your pics, get your film developed in Orlando (at Walgreens, they are the best) so you won't have to worry about flying home with film that might be damaged by x-rays.
