How much do you spend on average at WDW

We go every 2-3 years. Ignoring airfare, my family of 4 usually spends around $400-$450 per day for hotel, tickets, food, and souvenirs combined. My wife loves to buy presents for family and friends though. We rent DVC rooms each time for between $110 and $181 per night, depending on the trip. We are staying at Bay Lake Tower in December this time for $181 per night. The cheap point rooms there sell out quickly, so we had to pay a higher rate ($12/point) to secure a room at the 11 month mark.

It honestly depends. Usually we spend nothing on those things... But sometimes we'll splurge and buy something we really like. The last thing I got was a Figment hoodie.

I'm also not a knick knack souvenior type person. I don't wear Mickey clothes or purses outside of WDW. Not my thing. I don't buy souveniors for other people. So we don't spend much.

Last trip we had the DDP and paid all tips cash. We spent $600ish on everything else. That was our charges to our card. That included BBB, pirate cruise, autograph books, extra meal at VN, mickey ears. We let the kids each pick one major thing. That was a 6 night trip with four people.

I'd say we rarely spend more than $200. We also don't buy large ticket items. Generally a t-shirt for all of us, a set of small toys for our LO, and we all got a hat/mickey ears last time. This time, I don't see us spending more than $100.

We go about once every 3-4 years. Hubby and I each try and find a hoodie, a zip down jacket, me a park bag (those canvas ones that run around $50) Christmas ornaments, and I buy 2-3 pins. We also get my mother in law some teas and soaps from the England section. And then there is our boys. Oldest is not into Disney but we try and buy him something from the sports store inDTD. Youngest we probably spent a good $250-$300 on tshirts, plush, light spinner, pirate stuff, a few pins, passport book, .... we spent about $1,000 on stuff. (that does not include snacks, tips etc) But we had been saving Disney gift cards for over a year. All of our family had been buying us gift cards for mothers day, birthdays, Christmas, etc. And we bought one every pay period also.

Our next trip is the Monday after thanksgiving 2016. For Hubby and I's 20th anniversary, just us two for 9 days. I've already started my wish list. We'll do the same:
Hoodie
Jacket
Christmas ornaments
Yearly park bag for me
Pins

But I am redoing my office/scrap room Disney themed, so I will be looking for some cool artwork, etc, for that room.

I think if we went more often we would not spend as much obviously, but hubby and I really love our souvenirs. We save for a long time to be able to spend like this. :-)

Avg trip cost us a family of 4 6k for a week. Last trips "walking around money" was 1500 but I think we brought back couple 100.

Im not really into buying stuff, more of an experience person, but husband loves to buy coffee mugs, Disney pins, snow globe, glasses from Germany.
