Not including food, accomodation, tickets etc...

Just various things and presents etc...

I have been to Disney World 9 times. No two times did I spend the same amount. The first trip was such a budget trip that I doubt I spent anything other than absolute necessities. The second trip we saved for a long time and spent a lot of money on souvenirs for everyone in the family. On another trip we spent lots on extra activities at WDW - especially the Sea Racer boats, but also on behind the scenes tours. On one trip we met DISers during the Food and Wine Festival and spent the day touring the booths at Epcot...eating and drinking our way around - THAT was expensive. One trip we spent a couple hundred dollars on extravagant "souvenirs" for our home.
Your question is legitimate, but answering is difficult because of the variations. So my answer would be anywhere from almost $0 to almost $500.

It was our first time and we went souvenier crazy! We will not do that again by the way, we thought this would be a "one time only trip" and we now find we are returning again! :thumbsup2 We had the free DDP so all of our food, except the Planet Hollywood meal, were paid for. We ended up having $600.00 in gas and motels (one stay each way). We had $700.00 in our PH meal and the souveniers... t-shirts, pins, lanyards, those printed pictures from rides, Mr Potato Heads, watch, castle picture, lithograph). Everything else was part of our package and paid for before we arrived!

It's usually around $50 or less. But I'm not adding in the money for tips (you know, tipping at the airport, tipping at the hotel, etc.)

This upcoming trip, I don't think my kids are even bringing along their spending money.

I usually buy a key chain for myself at every trip. :cool1:

We're another family that varies widely in what we spend. In August we were doing a budget trip so we spent almost nothing on souvenirs. Bought a towel for my sister in law who was cat sitting for us and spent a few bucks on the photopass picture of the three of us with Captain Jack at the Pirate & Princess party. And DD got a pin from the Boardwalk - she has one from all the resorts we've stayed at. And that was about it. Next trip is in two weeks and we'll probably spend a lot more. My bonus comes at the end of October and it should be good this year. So we'll do some Christmas shopping and buy new T-shirts or sweatshirts. And DD will get more pins! And if my bonus is good we usually buy something for the house on our November/December trip.

WE go frequently, so our purchases are not as pricey, usually a pin for each girl, sometimes a t shirt. Usually only spend around $100 on souvies. Now, hotel is another story ;) THis time we'll probably spend a little more since older DD is on the golf team at school and we'll be hitting the sports store at DTD for her and her younger sister for late Christmas stuff. Younger one will make the team next fall so we need to prepare.

DH and I bought Food and Wine Festival commemorative T-shirts when we were there for the first weekend this year.

We're not big souvenir people, though. I think I could name everything we've bought during our ~ 25 trips to WDW: 6 mugs, a pin, a picture frame, the two T-shirts I mentioned plus one last year, 3 wine glasses, a scrapbook, a few postcards, and about 6 Photopass prints. Plus some Mickey coffee and hot chocolate as gifts. So I don't think we average even $25 per trip for souvenirs.

Not much at all. I went earlier this month for Food & Wine. I bought the cookbook ($13 ish?), a tote in France that I REALLY liked ($25 ish) and a couple antenna toppers (those were gifts).

We're also in the "not a whole lot" category at this point - maybe $50. There were some trips early on where we bought tons - I'd hate to total it up. But since we go often, the last several years have been in the $50 range. DH likes to get a t-shirt and I like to get a nice pen. We bring "Tinkerbell gifts" form home for DS for each day, and so far he's been pretty small so we haven't run into the "I want" issue...then again, he doesn't do that at home (yet) either.

I'd have to check my records for an exact amount, but I'd guess between $300 and $500 depending on the year. We collect Disney memorabilia so occasionally pick up a nicer item but some trips don't find anything special. Two years ago, I bought DW a gold and CZ Mickey necklace for $300. This year, we actually were talking about looking at the Mickey pearl necklaces. I usually pick up a few new Disney ties. DD will get a few assorted things - she collects keychains. And I may get a shirt or two.

We spent $260 for a week this year. But that was only extra food/alcohol that DDP didn't cover, the photopass CD, FairyGodmailer cards, and a couple of souvies for DD...we really don't spend much there

It varies so much from person to person, family to family...we just got back from 9 days gone and we spent like $2200 I think which included souvies, two big figs, pins, costumes for our DDs, their hair being done at BBB and other things.

We were at WDW for four nights at the end of August to take advantage of Free Dining. We arrived on a Tuesday and by Thursday afternoon I had only spent $2.00. It was unreal. Before we went home I bought a Ballerina Minnie as a baby shower gift and I bought myself a couple of things from Downtown Disney. DH and DS (20) didn't buy much. I bet we didn't spend more than $100 the whole time.

Gotta love the free food :cool1: :thumbsup2

We already own all the large stuffed animals in every character and more Disney t-shirts than we can wear. We used to buy these things when the kids were little. They could each buy a stuffed animal as their souviner.
Now, we go and enjoy ourselves and no one wants anything! It's wonderful!
They are more into the dining now and instead of picking the stuffed animals, they each get to pick the restaurant and where they want to eat.
But..it's all relative.
My kids are teenagers now.
We used to spend maybe $300.00- $500.00 a trip on souvies.
Now? $0.00

Two big figs??

We don't spend much on souvenirs unless our neices, nephews or grandneice are vacationing with us. However, we do and have collected certain items for years so we always put an extra $ amount into our budget in the event we see/want something we have not yet able to acquire.

Wow. We spend pretty much nothing. Occasionally we have allowed the kids to get $10 items, but we usually hit the Disney Character Warehouse for that.

I am glad someone came clean and really said what they spend !! :)

We usually spend about $1000-$1200 when we got for a week. It is the big vacation of the year and I like to come back knowing I got to do all I wanted to and did not miss anything. Even though I always miss something... :confused3
