How much do you see at AKL from the public/common areas?

What kind of public viewing areas do they have at AKL for people to see the animals on a visit to the resort? We plan to try Boma's and were wondering if there are nice paths from which to see the animals and scenery at AKL.

You can see it all! Walk out onto Arusha Rock from the Main Lobby. Also, walk down the Trails that lead off the Lobby - Kudu Trail and Zebra Trail. There are lots of windows looking out onto all 3 Savannas. It is fantastic! While waiting for our Boma PS, we walked down Kudu Trail and saw magnificent gatherings of something like 5 or 6 giraffes all eating out of one tree together!! We also saw Zebras, ostrich, ankole cattle, impala and lots of wildebeest - not to mention lots more - on the various savannas. FANTASTIC! Enjoy!

If you go straight through the lobby and down the stair you come out by Arusha Rock. You can see animals there and there are CM's from Africa to answer questions. Another area overlooks the Sunset Savannah. When you come in walk past the check in desk and there is a viewing area to the lft. You can go out onto the balcony to see the Sunset Savannah. If you go out by the pool area, walk around the pool you'll see flamingos, to the left of that area is the Uzima savannah and they'll be animals there. Be aware that they do take the animals back to the barns for a few hours in the afternoon.

Sounds awesome for one, and you are mentioning more animals then we saw on all of KS at AK when we visited there in 2000.
