How much do you pay for pre-school?

This year I am paying $410 for T/TH 9-3. Next year ds will go 3 days a week and it will be $580 :eek

DS goes to a co-op preschool: $85/month, Tue-Thu, 12:45pm-3:15pm. Part of the co-op program is that the parents sign up as parent helper 6 times during the school year. School is from September to May.

My almost 4 year old goes M-T-W from 8:30 to 1:00. It costs 400 a month.
They are enrolling now for the 4 year old pre-k. They want 730 a month for 5 days from 8:30 to 3:30. I'm not doing that. Florida has a free program for four year olds so I am looking into that. I just think $730 is alot of money. Yet alot of people around here are spending that kind of money.

If anybody is from Florida and knows about the free pre-k I would love to here what info you have about it.

Florida Universal Pre-K is half a day M-F, which is free, and for him to stay the other half of the day (DH and I both work) it costs me $80/week.

When public school is out (breaks or summer) it costs me $120/week for a full day M-F.
