How much do you coordinate your outfits to your group and your location/plans?

We don't match. When my DD was younger, I would match her & my colors for each day. Now that she's older, she has her own tastes.

Most definitely my kids will be coordinated! They are almost every day anyway so Disney will be no different.

They will be a mix of smocked and appliqued clothes with their names on them. I'm Southern. We like our names on stuff.

My sister also thinks I'm silly for our disney/character/parks themed outfits. But they are not a Disney family with only one trip under their belts.

Agreed! Despite our growing up taking the same Disney vacations, only one of us turned out to be a true Disney fan!

We absolutely coordinate every day to the park/activity for the three kids and DH and I at least stay with the color scheme if not coordinating as well.

Last trip I had two sets of matching shirts made for entire family(Animal Kingdom and MVMCP) and got more nice comments about them. I even had people stopping and asking if we bought them at disney b/c they wanted them...they were all very suprised and disappointed when I told them I had the custom made before the trip.

I want to make some "First Timers" shirts for our first day one everyones fave color, but that's it. One day I would like to wear our UofL shirts on game day. Love reping my city and team. Go Cards!

Call me the Academy Awards, because I am planning outfit changes, lol. I need to bring extra clothes into the parks on account of having a 3yo. So why not match up his meet and greets. For example at DHS, he have a character breakfast at H&V where he'll wear his favorite Jake shirt, right after we're heading straight to meet his biggest heroes, Buzz and Woody, so a quick T-shirt change and off to meet them. We'll have a mid day break back at the hotel, so wake up from a nap an throw on his favorite Sully shirt and off to meet those two.

Don't even ask about Chef Mickey, lol

For my oldest daughter's first trip, I just made her some Minnie shirts with my silhouette. We also went on a Disney cruise, so I made the rest of the family (grandparents went with us) Pirate Mickey shirts for Pirate night.

Our last trip, I made my girls coordinating shirts. Minnie and Daisy, Tinkerbell and Periwinkle (they also had sparkly shoes with pom poms). I also had a little Mermaid silhouette shirt for my youngest. I made shirts for my husband and I, but they were simple. A Daisy cut out for me and a Mary Poppins shirt. I made my husband a Monsters Inc logo shirt and a shirt that had a bleached out Lego Stormtrooper.

I'll probably do something similar for our trip next November.

We try to do it on most days. We have several tye dye Mickey shirts and even a Stitch shirt. So we try to wear the Stitch to O'hana. We also have other shirts that match. I always thought it was a good thing when my son was younger, because if he got lost and someone asked what he was wearing I always could say the same thing that I'm wearing. And he could say the same thing once he could talk. And we discussed that ahead of time. Plus like others have said it makes for great pictures. The only thing that I did quit doing was buying dated shirts. Because then we would still want to wear them in later years and I ended up with a 2011 picture of us wearing 2010 shirts.

I really respect this. May even have to do this with my DD and her princess dresses.

DH might kill me if I went there with it, but I do have a spread sheet set up so I know what everyone is where when and do have a couple of back up shirts that still fit the theme of the day JIC.

Here is rough run down for the upcoming trip...at least what I have so far

• Arrival day -- headed to disney shirts(then changing when we arrive for epcot)
• 3 MK days -- one will be frozen inspired, one will be tinkerbell/lost boys inspired, one will mickey/minnie(possibly ohana b/c that is breakfast that day...ok maybe I will have one outfit change during the day)
• 1 Animal kingdom day will be safari mickey/minnie
• 2 epcot days -- one general epcot and one beauty and the beast(Akershus breakfast)
• 1 HS day -- will most like be H&V characters, toy story or some other character that is at HS(still working on this)...We might even fall back on Mickey and Minnie that day if I don't fit them in anywhere else
• 1 down day -- pirate cruise so of course pirates!
• Departure day -- still up in the air b/c we have decided on plans for the day

Is this OCD enough for you....it takes me as long to plan outfits as it does to other parts of the trip.

I am not sure if DH color coordinated or not, but I think our outfits worked for the most part. I don't think he had rhyme or reason. For me, I wore my Mickey shirt the first day I was at MK (and met Mickey) I wore my Mickey/Pluto/Donald/Goofy shirt on another MK day, elephant shirt on a AK day, purple shirt on the MK day I met Eeyore (in the 90s sometimes he was colored blue with a purple underside). I wore my muppets t-shirt on a HS day and on my last day I wore the 4 park symbols shirt I bought earlier in the trip.

Our family mostly wears the same color that matches the park, but also work in some theme type shirts as well as character shirts.

For examples:
* green and tan tops for AK.
* fab fives t-shirt for MK
* Topical shirts for luau and POLY
* Orange for Halloween
* Star Wars t-shirts for the weekend or Jedi training

It's fun!

We do not coordinate as a family, but last time I put my kids in shirts depicting characters they were going to see each day. This time my DH wants to coordinate his shirt to the park (and is already collecting) and my kids will be decked out. My MIL sews and is making them full costumes for several characters - more costumes than the number of days we will have! I am now trying to work outfits/outfit changes into my plans around when we will be meeting the characters they will be dresses as - it's hard! I will be the odd one out, as I will just wear whatever I feel like each day.

The only matching we do is me and my 14 year old son have worn matching Mickey shirts on the plane ride down... He does it begrudgingly but he does it for his dad

Have only coordinated with my sister one time. And that was an EPCOT day when the Huskers were playing. So we both wore our Nebraska shirts. Met a lovely gent from Nebraska in Norway and heard cries of "Go Big Red" around World Showcase. Plus they won the game so that was nice.

Other than that we pick out whatever when we go to the parks and don't both coordinating or matching.

I dress for the weather and comfort.

We own some Disney themed clothing, but don't coordinate.

DH is tall. He's like a flag-bearing tour guide when he wears Crayola green or red, etc. Gray totally blends, so I mildly avoid packing gray for him.

Funny thing is, he owns the Nemo shirt with the gulls saying, "Mine! Mine! Mine!" We bought it when they were very new, before the animatronic gulls were added. DH inadvertently wore it to Epcot. As he was buying a by the entrance of the Living Seas the CM joked, "Gee, it's not bad enough, I have to hear that all day!"

Mostly I dress to be practical. Cargo shorts are great. Too bad they've kind of gone out of style for women. At WDW, pockets are your friend!
