I am not one who typically is a pest, but with having shelled out over $15K I am anxiously awaiting to hear that the paperwork has been sent off to the county clerks office and ill see my points soon.
My paperwork and check was sent out on 5/15 and received on 5/20. I did reach out to the closing company last Wednesday 5/22 and was told the sellers had an appointment with the notary. So here we are another week later and I haven't heard anything. Would I be too much of a pain to email again for an update?
We are working with Attorney Sweets office, if anyone has experiences with them or their typical communication. So far when I send and email they are pretty responsive. I just don't want to be that annoying buyer.
I guess I am wondering if I am being too much of a pest if I send another email looking for an update a week later. I'm trying to be patient.
FYI our closing isn't set until 6/7, so i guess the sellers have another week to get their paperwork back. but my guess is the sooner they get it back, the sooner they get their money and the sooner they can pay off that mortgage on the contract.
