I saw a youtube vidoe that showed the arcade... How much does it cost to play each game? Are most of them 1.00?

Also do they sell arcade cards in certain amounts?

Thanks

The games vary in price and yes you but the arcade cards for different amounts. On our 1st Disney Cruise our oldest son had charging privilages and he bought 5 cards because when he swiped it through the machine it didn't work so he threw the card away and bought a new one. I was so mad when I got the bill, we called the front desk and they were able to credit our account for those cards since it they were purcahsed less than a minute apart.

I don't remember the dollar amounts you can purchase the cards for though.

I think the last time I was on it was increments of five dollars starting at ten and going to 20. Each game is done in a point system so some whould be equivalent to 50 cents up to a dollar

Also, the more you initially purchase, the better value. You get bonus points like if you buy 1000 points you get say 250 extra points, etc. The extra bonus points kick in at $20, more you buy, more bonus points. I think $100 card is the most, and you basically get double what you buy. Lisa

BEWARE: Unknown to us, the room cards they gave us by default allowed charging, including my 6 year old son's. He went off to the arcade with me following a few minutes latter. There I found my son making many new friends.

Seems it is a common problem that some kids ask others to swipe cards for then. My son knows nothing about charge cards. All he knew was you put your card in the machine and out comes a magic game card for his new friend.

The concierge desk forgave the $90 in charges and hinted we were not the first ones.

This was my most serious complaint with DCL. Either get rid of the arcade. My first choice or make them free to use. The way it is now a lot of cruisers get some serious sticker shock when they check out.

Thanks the the heads up Kiss... I always make sure my kids KTTW cars cant be charged..

I do like the idea of giving them arcade cards though.... and now I will make sure that they understand it is for their use only, not anyone elses... of course at my kids ages, ether daddy or me will be with them, but always good to start 'talking' about responisblity even at an early age.

Sooooooooooo it seems most games are in the .50 to 1.00 range, which really sucks. I hate that. Arcade games should cost a quarter, that's it. (old school what can i say! And I cheered when Chuck the cheese went to one token only games... lol)
