How much do master's degree costs?

My MBA was free because my employer paid for it. All I had to do was give them 4 years of work after the class was taken. If I left prior to that, I'd have to pay a prorated portion that I figured I try to negotiate into my acceptance package for a new employer. I never had to do that since I stayed around much longer than 4-years.

OP, that seems high for the KC area. Are you looking at Rockhurst? I would think UMKC would be more reasonable.

BAck in the 80's my job paid for my MBA. It cost around 250 to 300 per credit now. My daughter paid 40,000 from Univ of pheonix on line.

MSW requires at minimum 60 credit hours and if you want to be licensed, another two years under supervision in most states.

I went to Columbia and it was about 500. a credit a few years ago. At 32 credits, that would be about 16K. I think it is up to about 750 a credit now. This was tuition only though.

I paid over 700 an hour and that was >10 years ago....
