How much Disney is too much?

If I could I would go to Disney World everyday...but since that isn't a possiblity I'll just have to settle for going as much as possible. It has been over a year since I've been at the world, luckly I had a stop at Disneyland in August and that will have to do til Dec. If I have the money and the time, I will be at Disney every time!

It's never too much!! :wizard:
We love Disney too! I never thought we'd go back as much as we have in the last two years. We always have so much fun there and the kids love it. We like to go other places too, but Disney seems to be it lately. Our families are starting to think I'm nuts!! They've all been teasing me and telling me I should get a job there.:rotfl: We were just there in May and are going again in a few weeks and are already planning a trip for the end of next October!! When we told them we were going in a few weeks they all said "again?"

People either get it or they don't. I feel sorry for the ones who don't, but I'm glad they don't - they keep the lines down! ;)

You sound perfectly normal to me!

I too am in the same boat with a DH who just can't understand my (and the kids too) love for Disney. I would love to go more than once a year but alas that's all I can go right now especially since I take the kids and no DH!! Thankfully I have my mom to go with me! Alot of people just can't understand why we want to go back all the time, at this stage they either understand or dont, I just tell them I'd live there if I could!!! I feel sad that they can't enjoy the magic that to me only Disney offers, it is the only vacation that I REALLY dont want to come home from!!! Enjoy it!

Too much Disney?

Well, yes, it's possible. I mean, if you're doing Disney stuff to the exclusion of other healthy aspects of life, such as taking care of yourself or your family. But otherwise, NO WAY! :)

Disney is pure fun. I don't know anyone who doesn't want more fun in their lives. If someone doesn't consider Disney to be their type of fun, then I can understand why they wouldn't want to go to the parks. But for the rest of us, bring it on! :thumbsup2

(Now, I just hope that our December trip shows DW how much fun Disney is, so I can start planning our next trip. Oh, I hope I hope I hope!)

Too much?! Neverr! I can't afford to go every year but I go as often as financially possible to WDW and DLP and have never felt bored.

too much disney? Not enough disney for my family and myself. i actually enjoy WDW more now that i am in my 50's  then i did when i was younger. when i get bored of being in a place where you are immersed in surroundings that are so intracetly themed that if it wasnt for the heat you would forget you are in florida, the i will stop going. i dont see that happening anytime soon. always something new to experience

I'm planning my 4th trip in 3 years and I get the same thing....."Disney AGAIN?!"

It kills me, because out of some of the people who say this to me...one goes to Vegas twice a year (wish I could do Disney twice a year) another has a time share in Cancun and has been going there the same week in Feburary for the past 17 years and another has been renting the same beach house in Hilton Head for the past five years.

I don't even bother arguing though...I just smile and say "Yep, Disney again!"

Sounds like you have a husband like mine! My DH doesn't get Disney at all! He just complains about the cost, that Mickey is draining his wallet, and why can't we try someplace else? :sad2: SOMEPLACE ELSE??? Where else is there except Disney? We took the kids in June and they loved it. They are at good ages right now(9 and 6). I am planning a trip for just me and my kids next October for the MNSSHP. I doubt highly that my DH will join us, but we'll probably have more fun this time since no one will be complaining! Sad, isn't it? I know that when the kids get older they will probably want to travel to other places, but for now Disney is KING! I say, you only live once so might as well enjoy it and Disney too!!!

I used to go all the time when i was a child and lived in orlando, but now my DS is older 13, we have been going very year since 2004, i wanted him to be old enough to remember and appreciate the Aw if disney.

I would go 4 times a year if we could, but that not possbile, so we go once a year, went twice in 2004 that was fun. :thumbsup2

My mother does not get it either, she says seeing it once is good enough for me, well not me and my 13 DS and then when we go i have to hear from her fussing about me spending the money.

I told her staying a at value for 5 or 6 nights and tickets are about the same price when we go the beach and stay at a condo

here's to disney making my stay a blast :drinking1
