I apologize if this is not acceptable. My dbf has suggested we get married in Disney in october!! It would be a very small affair, only between 4-10 people.

Has anyone had a very small wedding? Approximately what was the cost?

We're planning a small wedding like that but we haven't even talked to Disney yet cuz it's too far out but I can tell you what we have budgeted. A big difference will be whether u do memories (only 4 guests can watch ceremony) or escape (up to 18 guests can attend ceremony). Memories starts at 2500 and Escape starts at 5,000.

This is what we're planning but I'm including some extras...my pricing might not be that accurate but it's what I've researched:
Escape Wedding Pavillion (6,000)
Officiant (200?)
Marriage Liscense (100)
Extra Photography 2 hours (700)
Grand 1 Yacht Wishes Cruise (900)
Dinner at Ohana or California Grill with drinks (1500)
Hair/ makeup (160)
Manicure/ pedicure (155)

For memories extras might also be cake.

Escape with 5 people total including us...
All up I think it was about $10 000
Escape Wedding Pavilion including coordinator (worth their weight in gold), set up, violinist, organ in the pavilion, 4 hour limo, 2 hour photography, 2 tier cake, bouquet, boutonniere, 1 bottle cuvee and two bottle apple cider - $6000
Add ons we did and I do not regret -
- additional boutonniere for dad - $11.50+
- woven 17 crystals in my bouquet including 1 mickey $25+
- mickey crystal in groom boutonniere $6.25+
- simple flower arrangement for altar x 1 $95+
- White Chocolate Castle Cake Topper - Plain Castle with Silver Turrets Price: $120.00 per each (++)
- 2 Custom Flavour Price: $25.00 per each (Inclusive)
- 4 Mickey-shaped Latex Balloons Price: $8.90 per each (+)
- Photo package with 2nd Photographer, 40 print 12x12 album and archival disc $1250
- 1 Additional Photo Album - Modern (40) print Fairy Tale Weddings on cover and customized with couples' names and wedding date Price: $550.00 per each
- 1 Additional hour of photography (extension at grand floridian) $200 per hour
- 1 DFTW Engraved Cake Knife and Server Set Price: $115.95 per each (+)
- 1 Ribbon for Cake Price: $25.00 per each (+) Silver sheer ribbon To circle bottom of each tier
- 1 Two-Park Portait Session (Non Magic Kingdom) Price: $1800.00 per each

Things to add
$200 for Officiant
Hair and Makeup
Whatever you do for meals. We went just the two of us to Victoria and Alberts and then as a group to California Grill the next night but that is truly up to you.

Compared to prices at home I found this quite affordable given the actual experience was far superior to what I could get for that price at home...

We also have a long-running thread called Share Your Budget with tons of budget info. If you start from the end, you'll see the most recent. Prices haven't changed that much from 2013 or 2014.

We got married at the Swan in April 2015. For the venue it was 2000
Flowers were 800 used our own vendor
Officiant was 150 found our own
Video and photo was 1600 again our own vendor

Then did reception at blue zoo for 36 people it was a brunch that was 3500

I have heard these, prices have sonce increased

We got married at the Swan in 2012. We spent about $10k for everything for 53 people. We splurged on our photography ($3k) - for the record.
