We are going to Disney at the end of the month!:cloud9:

It's just DH and I for our first no kids trip and I'm wondering how much I should expect to spend for each day we're in the park?

The only goodies we plan to take home are a pair of each, and then 2 pairs of the Ears with the names sewn in the back for the kiddos!

Thank you!❤️

Slight typo? Are you saying you're going to buy ears for all of you, including ones to take home for the kids. Ears cost $15-$25 each I believe, and they charge to stitch the names on too.

Are you doing counter service meals? CS costs about $10-$15 for an adult meal. Are you looking to go cheap, or just wondering how much to save? We don't spend much at the parks, but we usually dine there since we use Disney Visa Rewards to pay for our food. However, many people can recommend cheaper meal options like Pizza Press and McDonald's, both of which are a quick walk across the street.

A lot. After many trips I have discovered that difference between trying to save and not paying attention at all is only a few hundred dollars. I would rather not pay attention. Except for the year I bought the vera Bradley.

My trips are always adult only and I’d say I generally spend about $50-60 per day on food, eating entirely in the park. $5-10 for a light breakfast, $10-15 on a CS lunch, $10-15 on a CS dinner, and another $10-15 for treats/coffee/etc. throughout the day. On days we do a WOC lunch/dinner package or similar it bumps up to about $100 for the day. Price will also go up considerably if you’re in DCA and adding alcohol to the budget.

I usually go with my wife and teenage daughter. We usually budget about $50 per person per day. I usually try to have one meal outside the park, such as Panera, etc, as that keeps the cost down. We don't purchase any gifts, trinkets, etc anymore, so most of the expense is food/treats.

Our trips are adult only. Typically each day is 10-20 on snacks depending, mainly just soda's/water, but the occasional churro or bread twist. For meals, if it's counter service, (we had AP's) would typically be about 25 for the two of us each meal. If we went to plaza inn for fried chicken, would be about 35. We would also typically per trip do one sit down meal, that depending on where, will run you about 30-50 a person after tip.

I usually budget $100/day for souvenirs and food and tours/other stuff as a solo. Park spending, period. And then, hope that I'm under but I'm not mad if I'm at it. ;) It usually averages out to be under by about $25/day. And like you, I don't spend much on souvenirs. Last trip was about $100 but that included 4 decades mugs lol

We do counter service and snacks, no souvenirs or extras -- usually two meals in the parks and one Mickey Bar and we usually spend about $30 pp. Note we tend to get tap water instead of soft drinks which saves some dollars and sometime we split entrees too.

Overall for three people I budget $100 per day for food for three and $100 a day for miscellaneous spending for three (gas, parking at home and at the airport, tip for the maid, stuff at Walgreens, admission to small attractions -- we like to do the Titanic attraction, etc.)

$100 per person per day for food and souvenirs. It could me more or less, but that's what we average over the whole trip.

Always round up in your budgeting. That way you won't be surprised by the total each day or feel super restricted and deprived. If you come out under budget, great! And if you go over your original estimate, the amount you rounded up will be your cushion. Don't forget to budget in things like Starbucks. I know people who were shocked by how much they actually spent on snacks and beverages at Starbucks every day in the parks.
