How Much Did AAA Save You?

I have a room-only ressie at the Poly for August 2006. AAA rates for 2006 have been out since 6/30/05.

We are going to Poly 12/14 - 12/18 this year. 2 GV rooms, 6 PH tix - all in all AAA saved us about $480. I joined AAA just to get the discount on our Disney trip. As luck would have it, we needed to buy new tires the other day and the Firestone store we went to takes $$ off for AAA members - so we ended up saving about $200 on tires as well! So far the AAA membership has worked out really well!

Wow, that makes me so angry at the CMs --- two of them told me there were NO AAA available yet! Does it make a difference that i made my ressie on line, vs calling them? Should i cancel that ressie and re-book on the phone?

I just booked our next trip. We will be going to the CSR with Park Hoppers and the dining plan from April 7, 2006 to April 15, 2006 (8 nights)

WDW price $2,938.48
AAA price $2,704.24 A difference of $234.24

So the April 2006 rates are available.

We are going 11/29-12/7 at the GF Sugar Loaf Concierge, 7 Day PH, and dining plan. It is saving us $615 for the 8 night package! It was more than the current YQE package by $115. So for us, it is well worth it! paying off the package in full this week! Yippee!

Did you book *thru* AAA? I booked on line, room only, and have been calling to get the AAA discount.

I canNOT believe TWO cm's told me it's not available!

Should i ask for a supervisor?

I booked my trip directly through AAA. Disney will give you the AAA discount for the room only but you cannot purchase the dining plan. They told me in order for me to get the AAA room discount, tickets and dining plan, then I would have to book through my local AAA office. So that is what I did.

Yes you still get the 0% financing for 6 months with the Disney Visa when you book thru AAA. The payment is processed by Disney and it is recorded as a valid transaction for the financing!
