How much are the refillable mugs

Hi been doing research for such a long time now for this trip that I cant remember how much the refillable mugs are(it was one of my 1st questions!). I should have written it down but didn't Also is there an adult price and a child price?

No child price, $12.49+ tax
Might get one in August at OKW, not decided yet, we can buy 12-15 x 2L bottles of Pepsi at Publix for that, was on offer at 89 cents last trip.

I think you should leave it until you get there to decide Wayne because I'm pretty sure that refills are only available at Goods to Go (near Hospitality House and main pool) and also at Turtle Pond pool. If you are not close to either of those areas, it may not be worth it to you. Also there isn't the same choice available as at resorts with food courts - no hot chocolate for instance. Details here.

Plus you'll have all those snack credits to use up

How do they stop you using in other resorts? we noticed this time looking around the 6 or 7 resorts we looked around they were all exactly same mugs for Year of Million dreams. Do they ask to see room key to confirm resort you are at? I would have thought a different mug for each resort would make life a lot easier for them.

We used ours at all the resorts we visited, no questions ever asked.

agree with wayne on this,bettr to buy from supermarket or the onsite hess if no car
Sodas from a can taste better tan the draft
it used to be that disney got the sryup free from cokeacola for all the free advertising they got from it, dont know it thats still the case
then again its hard to get the sodas in the bag when we do a beer run to hess
And in the values have always watched in awe as they fill up ther 74 oz big gulps from 7/11,without batting an eyelid

When we stayed at Pop in 2007, people were filling all manner of containers with drinks from the refill stations - bit unfair we thought - and noone seemed to challenge anyone!
We think we will use the kitchenette this time round at OKW as can keep bottled drinks in fridge and make hot drinks on demand. The refils are good if you can't do this easily. Some people fill up on their way out for the day which does not appeal to us as you are lumbered with the empty cup then.

When we were at All Stars people filled up water bottles and older cups. We were at the resort a lot so it made sense for us to get one, used it for coffee in the morning and coke etc during the day. I will be buying one in May however hoping it will be the same design for when we go in october so I don't have to buy more cups as already have enough at home!

We take the mugs out with us in the morning, leave them in the boot of the car and fill up on the way back to the room. As we will be in a DVC studio this year I might just stock up on root beer at Walmart and leave them in the fridge.

years ago when we first went,the mugs were lifetime refills
then they went to length of stay
we would collect the resort mugs when there were theamed to hotel and they changed each year,have stayed in all the resorts appart from the monarail ones so have a nice colection.but then when YOMD came in they when generic so now will never get a complete colection
As for using mugs at differnt resorts,officaly if it`s classed as a continous stay ie 1 week pop then 1 week OKW,your alowed to use it
but as there all genieric now and they havent changed for 2 years (apart from a date not appering)would just take back old YOMD mugs with you we do and will continue to do so

think the wording on mug states "a place of dreams" and not a year of a milion dreams,havent looked at them since we packed them away
If they get new ones,you will find a lot of posts on the resorts section of boards

we still use the outher resorts first couple of nights before checking into our dvc,as we like to checkin early to give us good option of rooms plus saveing points.ant dvc grand members since 99

The CSR mugs were different from every other resort last year as the Pepper Market food court is part owned by an external company so we won't be taking ours back this year (but we always get new ones anyway).

plus CSR is the only place youhand your mug over to a CM to fill up.eather at peper market or the bar next to pool

Root beer - really honestly root beer ? Blech, blech and double blech - always wondered who actually drank that stuff.

For the benefit of the OP , I think the mugs are great - used ours to get drinks every morning and night, and a few times in between. Love the hot chocolate and the coffee with that creamy whitener stuff in it. We made really good use of our mugs and still use them at home now - rush hour traffic on the way to work each morning is nowhere near as bad when you have a hot coffee/tea to enjoy.
