How much are infant fares?

I'm flying SW for my vacation. My son will be 14 months. I'm just wondering how much infant fares generally cost.

It's been a few years since we flew w/an infant, but from our experience with the airlines we flew on, they don't discounts seats for age. They flew free through age 2, but that was sitting on our lap. If we wanted them to have their own seat, we paid full price.

We always fly SW because of their infant fares. I believe they are half of the regular refundable fare, if I remember right. But here is the best part: They are fully refundable as well. So we always book the infant fare and then check in for our flight and if there are a number of empty seats we have the fare refunded to us and baby still gets a seat. You can do this each way. We have always ended up having one way refunded to us. We were also glad to have a seat garanteed for our babies if the flight was full. This only works for 2 and under. Sometimes promotional fares can be less than infant fares but of course those are nonrefundable. We also would work the system and get our flight credits (from Dings and sales) used toward the baby fare.
Ours are both over 2 since last Saturday so those days are over for now. We have never regretted spending money to have our children seated, both for safety and comfort.

I called about their infant fares from phl to mco... I was quoted 129$ each way! We only paid 49$ each way for us! Needless to say... call see what their fares are and then look on their website might be cheaper just to book a reg seat online here is my thread about it http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1366082
