Wondering what the cost of R/T transfers per person from MCO to port and back for a 4 night Wonder Cruise??

MJ

Below is the current pricing for Disney Cruise Line transfers (provided by Disney Cruise Line) - NOTE: All DCL transportation is provided by motor coaches:

Transfer Leg Price
Airport to WDW (one way) $19 per person
Any other one way transfer (resort to port) $25 per person
Cruise Only (round-trip airport to Port Canaveral) $49 per person
Land/Sea Package (round trip Airport to Resort, Resort to Port Canaveral, Port Canaveral to Airport) $69 per person

Thank you tracie...we have used a rental car for our last several cruises and a friend had asked about transfers...it has been so long since we used transfers I wanted to make sure!!

Thanks again.

Hi Patricia,
We just got back and you can absolutely do the transfers with Disney at any time. Before you leave call Disney; or for one way arrangements wait until you are on board and visit Guest Services at the beginning of the week when it's unbelievably quiet at their desk. It takes 5 minutes to arrange.

From the airport to Cape Canaveral I booked a rental car from Budget so we could explore the Cocoa Beach area, arriving a day early. I left the transfers from the ship to the airport on our last day open ended because I hadn't decided what we would do to kill time on Saturday before our 5:30pm flight. While on board, we decided to make it a relaxing day, and I was able to book transfers for all 4 of us at Guest Services. The charge will appear on your final bill from DCL, and a sticker is placed on one of the Key to the World Cards to be shown to the bus transfer people when you leave the ship. It couldn't have been any easier.

Comparing cost: a rental one way was quoted in and around $40.00 for the size car we needed. A taxi would be $60.00. Disney bus transfer is $25.00 per person (so $100.00 for us). We weighed the pros and cons, including price, trying to smush all of us and luggage in a cab, or getting ourselves and the luggage to the Budget tent then driving, and decided to leave it to the Mouse. We ended up sleeping the day away (not even using the pool) at the day room at the Hyatt (another $75.00 but well spent.)

Hope this helps.
Kathy

Thanks Kathy! We are going to the Poly for 7 nights before our 3 night cruise. We had planned on renting a car and then keeping it for our WDW stay and dropping it off at the port the morning of the cruise. Then we would get Disney transfers back to the airport. It seems a lot more $$ to keep the car 10 nights as opposed to 7 and pay the $30 parking at the port. I was wondering what would be cheaper.
