First ever trip during Thanksgiving week scheduled for 2015. Arriving on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and departing on the following Monday, Nov. 24-30.

We usually fly Southwest from Austin or San Antonio.

How much more am I going to pay, due to it being Thanksgiving week? 2x, 3x?

Southwest isn't open yet for my dates. Looking at Orbitz isn't promising. Thought others might know how much prices increase for the holidays.

No fixed amount or percent. Again, look at other airlines - fares on those days earlier and later weeks - and compare those fares to the fares the dates you plan to fly. That'll give you an idea of what Southwest might charge. Or not.

That is why I suggested looking at the fares currently offered for other airlines. Southwest's fares will likely be similar when they are released.

What are you comparing to? The week before Thanksgiving? A week in the summer? Christmas week? Some week in January? Thanksgiving last year?

As others mentioned, look at what ever week you want to compare to on a legacy airline. Then look at that same airline for Thanksgiving week. That will give you an idea of the increase.
