I don't think our house is too bad (except my office, the linen closet, the garage,
). There are plenty of days when I barely feel my head is above water, but I have a kind of hierarchy of chores which keeps me sane. Things that breathe are my first priority - do the kids (or cat) need hugs, guidance, food? Things that stink are my second priority - litter box, garbage cans, dirty dishes or laundry. Things that are in my way are the third priority - clutter, piles, toys, etc. Things that are obviously dirty or dusty are my last priority, so as you can guess, the dust on those 2" wooden blinds (that I had to have) on nearly every window in my house don't get a lot of attention.
(I am guilty, however, of inviting people over just so I will be forced to deal with it!)

People stop!!!!! Can't even stand to hear about any of this.
I'm a "cleaning freak" and if don't have anything to clean in my own house, I'm crazy enough to start in on yours! It's a horrible sickness to be afflicted with...sometimes wear myself out and the thing is, nobody even cares how clean or dirty my house is. No one but me that is.
I do! I cant stand dirty houses, messy houses!!
And as somebody who has been in RE for over 20 years
