acres are the in each of the parks (MK, Epcot, Studios, AK)

and

then how many acres are there in WDW including DD, the hotels and everything?

Does any one know??

I just want to compare it to my parents ranch of 11,000 acres.

The only thing I can help you with is all of WDW is 47 sq miles. A bus driver asked us a bunch of trivia questions on a ride last year and I got that one right.

Shoot, I actually used to know the answer to that question! (most of the people I know aren't THAT interested in WDW!) I do remember hearing that WDW altogether is about the size of San Francisco.

I think 27,000 acres sounds about right. It isn't all developed though.

What a neat question! LOL

I would go to a site that shows satelite images of Florida/Disneyworld and look it up that way. Then, if your own area is listed at the same site where the satelite image was from, gather a picture of your own property.

Sit the pics side by side and you should be able to compare them that way........

I just found this:

The Walt Disney World Resort is located on a 30,500 acre site (47 square miles) in the heart of Central Florida. The total acreage is about the same size as San Francisco or twice the size of Manhattan Island. A permanent wildlife conservation area has been set aside on 8,200 acres. The Magic Kingdom Park occupies 107 acres, Epcot covers 300 acres, the Disney-MGM Studios is 154 acres, and Disney's Animal Kingdom spans more than 500 acres. There are approximately 7,600 acres developed.

It's a pretty cool site.
