Just got back from seeing a house that has 250 holiday inflatables in the front yard. Its in a small neighborhood and it covers 3 yards. Does anyone of yall have anything crazy like that in your yard?

No, but some of my neighbors do!

It is nuts. There are enough lights outside to light a ballfield.

We have nothing outside....i'm a spoilsport, lol.

We didnt do anything this year either! Im not a fan of the inflatables, but my 4 yr old is. My MIL says she will buy some for us this year after xmas. UGHHHHH at least it wont be 250 of them lol.

I have over 4000 lights outside my house. Every year there is more and more. This year it went up really easy (in 2 days) and I was very pleased. I have candy canes, deers, a sleigh with gifts, 2 snowmen, a tree and lots of lights. As I say it looks like a winter wonderland (which would be nice since its 80 and muggy out and we may have rain for Christmas - fun fun!!0

Home for us is a 250+ yr old former tavern, so inflatables would look pretty out of place, IMHO.
We do have plain outdoor red ribboned, wreathes on each window & battery/solar window candles.

I dont think it really matters where you live, 250 inflatables look out of place ANYWHERE lol!
I dont know but it seems you guys are out of control with your wreaths and solar candles. you might want to chill a bit next yr ; )

Can't stand inflatables either. To many people around here have them and they are out of proportion with the house size. If you have a smallish ranch/Cape Cod, don't buy the huge inflatable that is 12 feet tall--its as big as the house.

If you have a larger house, it is more in proportion.

I have a Santa and Snowman inflatable.
But I'm getting tired of them. So next year I think I'll
be looking for something else.

Ooh I think we saw the one you are talking about! Is it in Denham off Cockerham Rd.??????

All of our Christmas decorations are on the house except two potted pointsettias that are on either side of the front door.

DH and I aren't fond of the inflatables, they generally look pretty tacky.

One of our neighbors has a house worth well over a million dollars. It's unbelievably gorgeous. And then they've got this giant inflatable snowglobe with a Christmas scene inside that blows around fake snow. It looks terrible in front of that stunning home! :confused3 Ah well, one mans trash is another mans treasure I guess.

I have seen that one at Home Depot and it is a cute idea, but I still don't like inflatables either. I can't imagine a yard with 250 of them as I didn't even know there were that many different ones. I think lights are nice espcially the designs sculpted out of wire and then lights are attached, or figurines such as a nativity scene are nice. Maybe I'm just getting old and only like what I'm used to seeing over the years, but inflatables just look cheap and silly to me. Needless to say, we just use lights, and those sparingly!
