I'm trying to figure out what shoes to bring and thought I would see what other people do, especially women.

I have a very comfortable pair of shoes from Lands End in navy blue that look great with jeans.

Now, with it being the end of Nov/beg on Dec, I might end up in shorts too. Here's the problem, do I bring my Tevas (so comfortable) or sneakers? Do I bring all three pairs? What about a pair of dress sandals?

You might not think that's alot of shoes but when I have to bring two pair per each kid (3 kids) plus dh, we need a whole suitcase alone for shoes!

What do you wear? We are going for 9 nights.

Help. :yo-yo:

I am, unfortunately, the WDW Blister Queen, so I take all kinds of shoes -- the theory is switching them out gives your feet relief and less chance to form blisters.

For our trip next week (YEEHAAAA!), I'm taking 2 pairs of tennies, two pairs of sandals (one casual leather and one slightly dressier pair of black suede for going out in the evening with dh) and water shoes for Blizzard Beach.

Dh and ds will each have 1 pair of tennies, sandals and water shoes.

I'd be interested to hear what others take! :)

I'm almost ashamed to say this, but on the trip I just returned from on Monday, I brought 9 pairs of shoes for a 4 night trip! I don't usually do that, but we went to a lot of dinners that I got kind of dressed up for.
When I return next week, I'll be bringing 4 or 5 pair for a week's stay.

I take my Tevas and only my Tevas, no matter what time of the year it is. Last December I was in my Tevas in 40 degree weather! I can't handle the blisters so I just sport my sandals and have no problems.

I also have a pair of Teva closed-in mules that I took, but they weren't as comfortable so I probably will leave them home this December.

A lot depends on the length of the trip, the time of year, and what we'll be doing besides the parks. I always bring 2 pairs of walking sneakers, and water shoes. Other than those, I just bring comfortable leather shoes that go with the non-park outfits I'm bringing. (There have been times when just DH and I bring a small case just for shoes - we laugh about it all the time)

Here's what I typically bring: 2 pairs of sneakers (in case one pair gets soaked in a rain storm or on a wet ride), 1 pair of Tevas, and 1 pair of cheapie sandals that I just wear around the resort. We usually always stay for 9 or 10 days and we were there in mid-November last year (this year it's late-October for us though).

Just my Tevas for WDW

I have those shoes from Lands End, too & live in them in the winter & fall - I love them!

I bring sneakers that are comfortable, supportive and that are broke in enough that I know they don't give me blisters and also a pair of really comfy (but cute and stylish) sandals. If I'm going to be doing something that I want to dress up I'll bring a pair of dress shoes as well but that doesn't happen to often at Disney. :)

I get a new pair of Easy Spirit sneakers every January when they have there big sale!!
By the time March rolls around they are broken in!

2 prs. of rebook Walkers for me, DH, DS, DD, slippers for me

I am taking Skechers sandals that are very comfy. For non park days I am bringing tan sandas. I will probably bring my sneakers too just in case. I would hate to end up on badshoe.com!

It's Nike's and Birkenstock's for me. It will have to be snowing for the Nike's to come on. I wear the Birk's and if I REALLY get chilly I throw a pair of sandal socks on and go like that - I figure no one knows me......We are going in December and I figure (hope) it will be warmer in FL than IL.

I have the same shoe philosophy as Princess Michelle: one comfy pair of sneakers, and a cute, comfortable pair of sandals (that I can wear with shorts, capris, or pants).

I bring 2 pair of Birkenstock sandals ( so if 1 pair is wet from the pool I have another) that i wear with shorts and swimsuits

1 pair of Birkenstock clogs that i wear at night with socks and jeans

1 pair of sneakers

and new for this trip.......1 pair of Chaco sandals ! People on these baords have raved for years about Chacos, I finally broke down and bought a pair and LOVE them !

My Easy Spirit sneakers and my LL Bean water type sandals. Doesn't matter what time of year. That's what I'll be bringing for Thanksgiving also.

I bring (well, wear one and pack one) two pairs of New Balance walking shoes.

Just back (and it was hot so take it what its worth!). I brought my Teva's & Birkenstocks. Never wore my Birks. Dh brought the shoes that you showed in the pic (not Merrills or Lands End but I think maybe Timberland) & Teva's. He only wore Teva's except on the plane. DD4 brought tennies & Land's End sandals. I don't think she wore the tennies! Ya get the pic! Sandals all the way.
Of course we were only at the parks for about 3 hrs at a time (had to try to keep dd1 to a nap routine!) so our feet never got tired.
Have fun!

I take 2 pairs of well broken in running shoes just in case one pair gets wet in the rain I always have a dry pair. I also take a pair of water shoes to wear to the water parks and back. My DH takes sandals, 1 pair of sneakers and sometimes a pair of deck shoes if any dressier dinners planned even though you don't have to dress up he likes to just a bit! My DS takes well broken in running shoes and sandals.
