How many weeks vacation do you take? What amount of that time is spent at Disney? Other vacation spots? Or just spent hanging out at home?

I get three weeks and we take three weeks to travel. I know a lot of people who take their vacations in dribs and drabs, using the time for household projects, long weekends, and just relaxing at home. I'm at home all the time with a home office, and DH is self-employed, so if we don't get out of the house and go somewhere it's no vacation!

I'm an aide in a middle school so I get about 12 weeks vacation and I love every minute of it!

I'm a teacher so about 13 weeks. We travel for 2 or 3 weeks and the rest is spent relaxing at home.

My husband gets 5 weeks vacation time per year. We can only really afford to actually go anywhere for 1-2 weeks though so the rest of his weeks off we do family stuff and household stuff.

DH can take as many as he wants, but this year he is taking 2 weeks. One week we are going to Door County, WI, and the other week we are going to WDW. :)

Dh gets 4 paid weeks per year...I usually only work 3 days a week and make my own schedule, (but am only required to work 4 days per month), so it's very easy for us to plan...

We take one "big trip" per year (like WDW, or this year, a cruise), and lots of little 4-5 day trips...

We take 3-4 weeks a year. We could take more but won't leave the office closed for more than 2 weeks at a time.

I get 4 weeks vacation and DH gets 5. We usually do a 1 week vacation, a few long weekends and the rest doing stuff at home, chaperoning DD's school trips or staying home with her during school holidays.

I get 4 weeks of vacation.
1 week is usually traveling and the rest is used whenever, for long weekends, ect.

I have 2 weeks. DW has 7. Needless to say, she spends a little more time on vacation than me. :teeth: :teeth:

We have a little over 6 weeks. We have been doing 4 weeks at WDW with our annual passes/timeshare and the other weeks for family.

I get about 4.5 weeks paid vacation from work.

I usually take 10 days at Disney offsite at my BF's time share then other small trips through the year.

This year we did Disney off site for 10 days in late Feb/March. We are doing 6 days (two of which are strictly travel days) in Dec.

Next year we will probably do our time share the last week of Nov. and then do a weekend in March. We are looking into going to Vegas in the summer, as my parents have offered to pay for most of it (they are obsessed with making us go see Vegas)

i have just under 4 weeks of vacation. we usually take two 1 week long vacations and then use the rest for xmas and thanksgiving. usually we do one week at wdw and one week somewhere else. this year we went to jamaica and we're going to paris. :hyper:

dh has more vacation time than me, so he frequently takes random days off, just because.

I get 3 weeks vacation and DH gets about 5. We take about 2 weeks vacation for a trip..usually a cruise or WDW. The other time off is spent on weekend getaways and at Christmas.

DH and I get 2 weeks paid vacation. Also, we can accumulate comp time (which I have more of than him since he can also take pay for overtime). Normally we will take one, one week vacation and then split up the other week with small weekend vacations (I take Monday off, he has Monday off so he doesn't have to worry about it).

I get 3wks and 2 personal days
Usually take one week for a Disney/cruise/FL vaca in the fall
The other days are used for 3 mini-vacas in the summer

I have 4 weeks vacation and 3 personal days. We usually spend a week in Maine on the coast. The remaining is to do whatever with. I LOVE to take Christmas week off, my favorite time of year. I also do a TON of volunteering at my daughters school.

Anyway you shake it...IT'S NOT ENOUGH TIME OFF!!!!!!;)

I get 4 weeks vacation per year but, because I didn't use it all last year, it is conceivable that I could take 8 weeks this year :) But I'm not :(

Typically I use at least two whole individual weeks on longer vacations -- this year we are doing two weeks together. The other two weeks I break up for school vacations and long weekend travel.

We haven't been to WDW in a while...DD (8) wants to see "other parts of the world in real life" so we are taking a breather from WDW. We have a list of places we want to go and are having fun crossing them off the list and adding new ones.
