How many weddings have you been in?

Flower Girl for my sister at age 6.
Maid of Honor for Best Friend
Bridesmaid for two SIL, and two good friends.
Bride ONCE

So...7.

MOH- 1 time
Bridesmaid- 5 times
Bride 1 time so far (j/k ;))

Never a bridesmaid... only a bride princess:

I did get asked to be a bridesmaid once while in high school, but I couldn't afford the dress, etc....

More than i'm willing to admit
I’ve hit all the major roles from flower girl to MOH
and even Best man...

I've been in one other than my own; my sister's as Matron Of Honor. At 9 years old my DD was in more weddings than her (then) 35 year old mother.

I still have the hand-sewn, burgundy medeival style dress that I wore as MoH; I'll never wear it again because it's now waaaayyyyy too big for me, and I'll never get to that size again. :thumbsup2

Three of my own and just a few others. I don't really like weddings. As a musician, though, I've played for hundreds of weddings over the years.

Zero, unless you count my own and it was just a quickie JOP thing.

I have never been invited to a wedding either. Recently by word of mouth we were asked to go to dh's coworker's JOP ceremony but we are out of town then so we can't.

flower girl.....many, many years ago
bridesmaid in my cousin's wedding
bride
mother of the groom

Flower Girl-1
Bridesmaid- 2
Matron of Honor-1
Bride -2

Bridesmaid twice. Once was my best friend growing up, I was 19, second was my brother I was 30. Actually, I'm glad you posted this. I still have the dress from my brother's up in the attic and I'm going to call the vets this week to pickup some clothes, I'm going to throw that in too!

I was flower girl in my aunt's wedding in 1984.
Next was my own wedding in 2002.
Then I was MOH for my mom/stepdads wedding in 2003.
Finally, I was "personal attendant" for a friends wedding in 2007.

If you ever get asked to be a personal attendant, run far away. You do much of the work, and don't get any of the recognition that the bridesmaids get. I was never quite sure exactly what I was supposed to be doing. Don't get me wrong, I was happy to be able to help my friend, but I was newly pregnant at the time so I was tired as it was. By the end of the night I was shot, and fell asleep in a chair at the reception!

I was in my sister's wedding when I was 9, a friend's when I was 18, my own at 22, and another friend's at 23. I did a reading in another friend's wedding, but was not an official part of the wedding party.

I've been in two weddings.

In my Aunt's wedding I was a flower girl when I was six. The other wedding I was in was as a Bride in my own at 21.

That's it!

Me too! My friends were too far away and my SIL and I at the time weren't the best of friends. She didn't have her own brother in her wedding. Any way, yep, you and I share a common bond so to speak.

Living in Las Vegas, quite a few....:rotfl2:

Formally:
Flower girl at my Dad and Stepmother's wedding
Maid of Honor for ex-bf's Stepmother
Maid of Honor for ex-bf's Brother's wife. (though this could be considered Vegas style as it was only planned out a day in advance)
Maid of Honor for Best Friend
Maid of Honor for Sister

eta: Oh yeah and I was the Bride once.

Bridesmaid- 2
Bride- 1

The kicker is they were all within 10 months! Talk about a crazy year!

Age 3-Flower Girl- Aunts Wedding
Age 6-Flower Girl- Random relatives wedding
Age 20- Bridesmaid- Friend's wedding
Age 22- Bridesmaid- Friend's wedding
Age 24- Bride

If my brother ever gets married I am sure I will be in that wedding. BIL got married at the JOP so got out of that one (quickie wedding) and my other cousin also had a quickie wedding or I probably would have been in that one too. I think my wedding days are over now barring an unexpected divorce/remarry type situation.

None. :sad2:

I have four siblings, three married, one engaged, and I was never asked. Never asked by friends either.

A shame. I'd love to!
