How many times will JetBlue change flights?

We booked non-stop flights from Buffalo to Orlando in March for our September trip, and were able to select seats at that time.

Up to now they have changed the flights twice and the first time they changed the seat numbers as well due to the different aircraft.

Luckily we still have non-stop and the times are within 30 minutes of original times.

This is our first time flying out of Buffalo and first on JetBlue. Is it normal for the flights and aircraft type to be changed several times after booking?

I notice on their web site that the PDF version of the timetable is only for June. Can we expect monthly changes to our itinerary?

Jet Blue has changed my flight out of White Plains and Orlando twice already for our September trip. The first time it was a five minute difference, with a plane-size change too. They changed our seats but I adjusted them online more to my liking.

The second time was yesterday. The flight to Orlando was adjusted by 5 minutes, no big deal. But the return flight was changed from 8am to 6:45am! I have 2 small children and there is no way I'd want to get to the airport that early!

Today I called Jet Blue and they moved us to a later flight and waived all the fees.

JB changed my October departure times! I'm excited. We were leaving Dulles at 8:40AM and now we're leaving at 8:05AM....extra time in WDW!!

OP, I fly JB exclusively and if they do change your time that does not fit your schedule, they are great about letting you switch and waiving the fees. That is one of the many great things we love about JB. They have wonderful customer service too!

All US airlines, not just Jet Blue, will change your flight at no charge if they change your original flight time by a certain amount of tine.

Thanks for responses. I wonder how much time they allow for you to accept or not?

The first time they changed, they did not notify me, the main contact, but notified my DD. She thought nothing of it until about a week later and they had moved one of the 5 of us to about 10 rows behind the rest of the family. Luckily I was able to move my seat closer.

This time, they emailed my DD again but not me, but they left me a phone message. I had to change one seat again.

This has never happened to me before, but we normally fly out of Toronto with one of the Canadian airlines. I'm ok with the changes as long as we remain around the same time and on a non-stop flight.

Every time I book early with JB they change my flights. Did it again today. They moved my 7am out of MCO to BOS to 6am, but I called and told that was unacceptable, so I moved the flight to 9:30, which was $150 more than what I paid and they switched no problem.

JetBlue changed the time of our October flight out of HPN. The first flight of the day used to be 6:30 a.m. and now it is 8 a.m. I am pretty bummed to be losing that hour and half . Really hoping they don't change or nix that flight because the next one is like 11 something and at that point we're losing almost a day on an already short trip. We took the 6:30 a.m. last October and it was awesome to get in by 9 a.m. So sad it's gone.
