How Many Threads Are You Subscribed To?

I just checked and I am subscribed to 178 threads! How many are you subscribed to?

To check, click on "User CP" in the upper left had corner of the DIS screen, it will go to a "New Subscribed Threads" screen. In the bottom right side of that box will be a "View All Subscribed Threads" link. Click on that and it will take you to the entire list of threads you are subscribed to!

It means you want to be notified if someone adds a post to that thread....you want to go back and see what others are saying on the topic.

Mine is set to automatic subscription, which I have to change. I'm up to 325 threads.

Mine said 948 threads. But I still don't really get what that means. I don't get that many notifications, maybe only one or two.

Maybe they are older threads that are no longer getting posts any more?

Most of those are probably really old and not active anymore. Also, you can subscribe for "no email notification". I've been doing this lately because I like the checkmark that it puts after the thread on the main page. That way I can easily find the threads I've been reading and my mail box doesn't get cluttered.

Go to your list, check off the ones you want to do some common thing with, go to the dropdown in the lower right, select what common action you want done to that group.

Oh no....I insist.....you're making me work!

Let's see....follow those steps above to go back to the full page of subriptions, put a check mark in the boxes to the right of the subscription(s) you want to delete, then go to the bottom of the page and, in the box to the right of where it says "Selected Threads:", click on "Delete Subscription" in that box, then click on the grey "Go" button. It will delete what you have marked.

To keep from subscribing to every thread you answer to, when you post an answer, go down to the blue box of "Additional Options" before you click on the "Submit Reply" button and click on "Do Not Subscribe", then hit the "Submit Reply" button and you will NOT receive notification if additional posts are added to that thread in future.

Mine is about 20+. Does any one know if there is a thread number limit? I hit my PM limit not too long ago.
