how many tents/campers to a site?

My family is going camping at FW in January 2005 and will have 6 adults and 3 children. I know that there is a limit of 10 people to a site, but I was wondering if there was a limit to tents and campers as well. We are planning on having a 23' camper and 1 tent for sleeping, but we were also considering putting up a tent to keep clothing and other odds and ends out of the way. Does anyone know the answer to this? I have not seen any information.

On a side note... Is there much of a difference between an AP discount and an AAA discount? We could use either, but I would like to get the best discount available.

As long as your "stuff" fits on the concrete driveway and sandy pad in your site, there is no limit.

Last December, we had a small utility trailer that we pulled off to the side and there was a note on my truck later that day that stated our trailer had to be on the sandy pad or on the driveway.

I also had the option of parking the trailer out in the front parking lot.

As far as 6 adults, there will be a $2 charge per night extra for the adults over 2. So add $8 per night to your campsite rate.

If there is not enough room on the sand pad for the 2nd tent, you could set up the tent on the driveway and loop a length of rope through the stake down holes and stake the tent down on either side of the driveway.

I'm not sure I explained that very clearly, but I can picture it in my mind perfectly!!

Thanks for the info. We should be able to make out just fine then. Most off the "stuff" we be clothing, luggage, odds and ends that need to be kept out of the way. We actually have to set up a portable play pen for our baby to sleep in and that will take up the necessary storage space from the camper. It should all work out.

Good idea for staking the tent down! Might just try that.
