Is your child in a Team class, or does he/she have an Art Teacher, Gym Teacher, Music...etc??

My High School son has 4 teachers only because he's in a block schedule of just four classes.

My youngest DS (7th grade) has 8 different teachers he has to get to know!!!:earseek:

My youngest have 4 teacher's to meet.

My oldest has 9 all together....the older they get the more teachers they have!!

DS14 is going into high school, and will have several teachers. I don't know the exact amount, but at least 6, I'd think. Probably more.

DS11 is going into 6th grade and will have a homeroom teacher who will also be the Language Arts and Spelling teacher. He'll have a separate Art teacher, a separate Music teacher, a separate Computers teacher, a separate Gym teacher, a separate Health teacher (she's the school nurse), as well as a math teacher, and science teacher. DS's school is small, so he already knows many of these teachers already. For example, he's had the same computer, art, gym, music, and health teachers since 4th grade. He will only have to get to know four new 6th grade teachers who teach the main subjects. I think this is good because it prepares them for next year when they will be in the Middle School and have all new, separate teachers for each course.

My oldest will have 4 teachers this year. Three he has had before so it won't be bad. My 5 year old will have so many teachers that I won't be able to keep track of it. Its weird going out with him because we usually run into people he knows that I don't know. They always have to explain who they are.

My 2nd grader has 7, a primary teacher, special ed teacher and 5 special teachers (art, computer, library, PE & music).

My 5th grader has 8 they are switching some subjects between classes so she has a home room teacher, science teacher, accelerated program teacher and the 5 special teachers.

All the special teachers are the same as last year so they don't have to get used to new ones every year.

DD, 4th grade-1 regular teacher, 2 PE teachers, 1 computer teacher, 2 librarians, 1 Kaleidoscope teacher (name of the gifted program), 1 art teacher, 1 music teacher.

DS, 1st grade-1 regular teacher, 2 PE teachers, 1 computer teacher, 2 librarians, 1 art teacher, 1 music teacher.

NONE!!!! I love it, no teachers, not one!!!! WooHoo :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Yippee!

He has a real grown up job instead :teeth:

Let's see

my DD 6th & DS 4th grade have classroom teacher, art teacher, music teacher, PE teacher (2), Religion, Science Teacher

DS 3rd grade has classroom teacher, music teacher, PE teacher(2), art teacher

DD Kindergarten has Classroom teacher, and full time aide

But the extra teachers are the same ones they have had at the school since my kids started so it really isn't getting to know anyone knew except their classroom teacher and DS 3rd's teacher is a good friend of the family....

I have 6 so far - one for each class. I was thinking about adding another class (I have a 0 period class, and my schedule only goes 0-5 - most go 1-6) but I think I have a hard enough schedule now. I really want to take psychology/sociology though, if it will fit. (Then I will have 8 teachers - one for psych, one for sociology.)

DD1 has 6--Mrs. Hamilton is her main teacher with switching to the other two 5th grade teachers for other subjects (BTW due to budget cuts she has 27 kids in her class!!:( ) plus music, art and gym.
DD2 has 5--Miss Fishbaugh for main 2nd grade, another 2nd grade teacher for reading, and music, art and gym.
DS has 4 in preschool--Miss Cindy, Miss Nancy, Miss Cheryl and Miss Janet.

My DS started high school. He has 8 teachers this year. My DD started middle school and she has 6 teachers. They both think they'll like all of them pretty well. How lucky is that? :D

I'm a senior and i have 5 academic classes and 3 electives.
My Lit Mag teacher is the same as my English teacher.
My Volunteering teacher is the same as my german teacher.
So i have 6 teachers this year.

Goodness what a question

My boys have a lot....both in high school. Too many for me to keep track of, specially when you have to write to note to each informing them that the boys will be finishing early this term & starting late next term due to our trip of a lifetime.

I lost count how many notes I typed up...........Nightmare!!!:(
