I posted a few days ago about going to the shore, but how many swimsuits would you take for a week? Keep in mind that we also have a pool at the house as well as the beach.

Yeah my guy cousins who I'm going with always give me a hard time for packing too much. They don't understand why I need to take different shoes to match each swimsuit either. :rolleyes1

I didn't know shoes went with swimsuits. :confused3

Well, I have my pink crocs for my pink swimsuit, my flip flops for my other suit, and if I decide to take another suit, I'll need to find other shoes, since those won't go with any of my other suits. Then I also need to take "real" sandals in case we go out. I'll probably take at least five pairs of shoes total, two pairs of crocs, two pairs of flip flops, and my nice sandals.

Two.

One you can wear while the other is still damp.

Also, they need to be different styles up top so you can tan evenly and reduce the appearance of "white streaks" and weird tan lines.

LOL, this is funny to me. We went to Cabo last year in a house with a private pool. I took 2 suits, but only wore one. Dh took 3 and wore them all LOL.

I hadn't thought of that. Guess I will have to pack a third suit. The two I'm already taking are the same suit, they're just different color and print.

Great. I'm married with 2 daughters. Is this what I have to look forward to in the future?? I'll need a suitcase just for all the shoes!! :headache: :furious: :worried: :lmao:

Yep, I agree.

But, if I only had one, I'd make due and use the sink and the blow-dryer every night so it was ready for the next day.

At least two. I've always been told you don't want to wear the same suit in the pool that you wear in the ocean (at least until it has been washed).

For a weeks' vacation I always take three suits with matching cover and flipflops but I pretty much live in these. I put them on first thing in the morning for the beach/pool and then shower late afternoon at which point I change into capris and tank (for which I take 7 tanks, 4 capris, 1 sweater, 1 jean jacket, and one pair of sandals that matches everything).

i always take a one piece, a two piece and some swim shorts (if im feeling a bit more modest)

Wait, some people DON'T match their shoes with their swimsuits? :confused3 haha I just love swimsuits so I would probably take at least 4 and flip flops to match each.

LOL!!

Yes!! Yes, it is!!

While I agree with the "two is enough" advice, I myself always end up taking three, as I like variety, and my girls always take 3 as well...so yeah 9 suits for us, and 1 for DH. (he only has one - lol).

As for shoes...yep. There are going to be lots and lots of shoes in your future! :rotfl:
