Hello all,

I have already started packing....can u believe it :woohoo:! I have one swimsuit for each member of my family. I am contemplating buying an additional one (big sale on www.disneyshopping this weekend). How many suits do you carry and how do you dry them in your room?

Any tips would be helpful.

Thanks,

For me I only have 1 or 2 that fit me. I hate bathing suit shopping more than anything.

DH only has 1 or 2 also.

For the girls it depends on the length of trip. For a week I would probably bring 4. It's partly so they don't get bored with 1 or 2 suits.

I agree! I hate swimsuit shopping too! After four kids, I am struggling to find a suit that "complements" my figure!!!

I always bring 3. I used to bring two until one trip the snap closure on the back of one broke (plastic) the first day we were there and I only had one bathing suit for the week. After swimming in the pool I just rinse them in the sink, wring them out and hang them in the shower to dry.

For 10 days last year my DH,DS and me each brought 1, my DD brought 2

I plan on taking 2 each for both DD's and me. I have no idea what DH has planned.

I take about 3 bathing suits. My dks take 3-4. DH usually takes 2.

Dh and I each take 2; and I pack 3 each for the kids. We all hate, hate, hate putting on damp, cold swimsuits; and they never seem to dry in our hotel room!

I pack 3 for myself & each of the kids.

I have no idea how many DH packs for himself.

**We are big on swimming & swim at BB, TL, or the resort pool every day.

SAB here we come!!

We bring 2. One to wear while the other is drying out. We usually rinse them after each wearing in the sink with woolite and hang them to dry in the bathroom.

I only bring 2 for myself, (add me to the list of those who " HATE BATHING SUIT SHOPPING!"), maybe 3 for DH and 4 or 5 for each of the kids. This year, we are going for 14 nights and we will be using the pool A LOT!!!!!! So I'm thinking 5 for each kid this year.

Geez, I thought I was a freak! How nice to know I'm not. We always go for 3 weeks, so we bring 3. We had some wear out due to the chlorine, so always have extra!

My DH and I were in Cabo at a fancy resort and let our bathing suits/ towels dry on our balcony... We got a notice from the hotel that it is tacky and that we need to take them off! ha! :rotfl:

That is so true. I can never seem to dry my suits in the hotel room. I have purchased additional suits. I will be bringing two suits for each of my family.

We each bring 2, since I do laundry while we are there ;)

I do laundry while there as well. I hate flying home with bags of dirty laundry. And since we are reduced to 50 lbs. per bag (or pay the overweight charges), I will be packing less clothes so I will be forced to do laundry a few times while there.

I feel ya, sista!:goodvibes We bring 2 each!:thumbsup2

I have had some luck ordering from newport news online. They have a wide variety of suits. I prefer the swimdress (until I can reduce this post-baby belly) and they have a few flattering ones that accentuate your best parts and hide the other stuff. Check it out! :)

This is why I rinse in the sink with woolite and hang to dry after each wear.
