How many studios at BWV?

We are thinking about our plans for next year and are considering a Boardwalk view studio. I was wondering how many of these rooms there are. I don't know if I can get one at 7 months but it might be worth a try.

It depends on how many two bedroom lockoffs are booked as one bedrooms. What time of year?, at certain times of year its not unlikely, at certain times, very unlikely - at most times of year a preferred view studio will be available if the boardwalk view is gone.

We are thinking of May. We have usually had good luck for this time of year.

In the Boardwalk view it looks like there are 8 dedicated studios and up to 21 lock-offs which of course is a changing number depending on how many book them up as part of a 2BR.

You are at a not unlikely time of year. And almost certainly a preferred view studio will be available if the Boardwalk View is completely booked.

I think you have a good chance if you call at exactly 7 months. If all dates are not available then I would bet that the wait list would work. Good luck!

we book a BWV BW view studio every late april-early may, at 7 months (using our BCV/SSR points, and saving our precious BWV points for the more difficult-to-get october vaca).
we have had to waitlist a few nights each time, but they have come thru every time except once (we had to change to PV the last 2 nights).

definately call/go online at your 7 month mark (btw, we found the later part of may ito be much more difficult).

btw, early may is our favorite time to go - low crowds, fantastic weather, and the F&GF just minutes away

Thanks for the info everyone! We usually go the first week of May and stay at the BCV. I think it looks like we may be able to go for a Boardwalk view for a change next year. I love this time of year as well.
Have I said how much I love DVC!!
