How many states have no school

Florida goes county by county. Tomorrow is the first time in 23 years of teaching that I will have Veteran's Day off. Looks like my county finally caught up with the rest! Yippee!

No schools here in MA. It is also DS's 8th birthday November 11th! (Happy Birthday sweetie!)

Lucky kid, he will never have to go to school on his birthday! DH is supposed to work but is taking the day off.

Last year DS turned 7 at Disney!

The schools all around here are in session tomorrow. Guess it is a regional thing since the area around browneyes are out.

I have school tomorrow. Some of the other schools around here probably have off though, because my school is always the one to have school when no one else does.

My kids have off tomorrow and Tuesday for professional days. The teachers have to go. It is the end of the marking period. I think maybe elementary school have conferences.

No school here in Alachua County, FLorida either. DH has the day off also ( he works at the University of Florida). Kids also have next Friday off also for UF's Homecoming. Guess it's a real big deal here - parade and everything.

In NC, the individual districts set the school calendars. We do not have school tomorrow. Our local independent school was off Friday but has school tomorow.
