I was wondering how many rides are typical to get through before the park opens & the lines really start getting long. Say, on a Saturday.

You can probably get though all of the dark rides (Peter Pan, Snow White, Mr. Toad, Alice, and Pinocchio) plus Dumbo, Mad Tea Party and Matterhorn. You could probably also get Nemo and maybe one other ride. Or if Tomorrowland, Space, Buzz, Astro Orbitor, and a couple FL dark rides.

If you stick with Fantasyland, and you get ot the gates early, 7-9 rides during EE. If you do Nemo, plan to only do that and nothing more.

It depends on what time of year you go. We went Sept 6-9th and used our EE on Sat. We started with Nemo (walk on since we power walked over there) and then were able to walk on PP, Dumbo, the Carousel, Snow White, Pinocchio, Alice, Buzz & Astro Orbiters. EE started at 7am and were done with all of these by 9am (one hour after regular park opening, but still empty).

Yah, and it also depends when Nemo actually starts running. When we did EE it started 30 minutes late, which I hear is very common. My suggestion is to plan to do Nemo and nothing more, and then if you have time for more that is a bonus.
