How many rewards/gift cards did you earn for one wdw vacation?

Another vote here for Sunshine Rewards. I typicallly make between $50 and $70 a month from SR by just doing surveys and an occasional shopping credit here and there. It is a great site to belong to, with wonderful people operating it. Hope this helps.

I do like sunshine rewards, but , you really have to have the time and patience for the surveys. The owner is really a great person, i will say that. I just tend to get frustrated, as I do not qualify for surveys , and just do not have the time to sit there and see if I will qualify. I might make 25 every other month if i have a good month.

Thanks to this board, I joined mypoints and have received a $25 gift card so far for the Landry restauraunts. I just cashed in for another $50 for Landry today. I have been reading about the Sunshine Rewards and joined that site today but can not find the surveys. Can someone please tell me where they are?

Thank you so much!!!!!

I make about $20 a month with Sunshine. I only do the Greenfield surveys as I've been burned too many times spending 20-30 minutes on the other surveys only to be told that I don't qualify after answering all of the questions gathering my opinion. I also buy all of my personal care items through them (shampoo, soap, etc.) going to either drugstore.com or mothernature.com and around Christmas/Birthdays I try to buy as much as I can through their site (granted that it's still the best deal I can find). I'm not cashing out before my trip this October but I will be for our long trip next December. I should be right around $300. My Disney Visa Rewards card should be about $300 as well by then.

I've told a few people IRL about Sunshine but most of them don't think it's worth their time to spend 20-40 minutes on a survey to get $1 (or less). My time isn't that valuable ;).

Another big fan of Sunshine Rewards here. I've earned over $350 in the last 4 months. I usually earn $75-100/month depending on how much shopping I do and how successful I am with surveys. Not going back to Disney for a few years so I have been cashing in for Gift cards for other merchants.

My husband has $850 dollars in rewards from a work program. He checked today and they can be used for Disney World!!
Then I read the fine print.. they can only be used towards a vacation package. Ours is paid off and we leave in two weeks.:headache::headache::headache:

Oh well .. maybe it's time to plan another one:rotfl2:

I have been a member of Sunshine Rewards since April 2010 and I have earned just about $400.00 (Average of about $100/month)all of which is going towards my first WDW trip.

Most of the money that I make come from taking the surveys and I occassionally shop. Like others have said, there are 6 daily surveys available daily that can give you about $120/month.

I only got serious with using my Disney VISA since March but have $153 as of July. I don't do other things like the rewards sites. I tried some but they are too time consuming and when surveys asked for my phone number and/or other personal info I canceled out.

I do, however, do other things. My dh has a vacation budget. I don't work outside the home. So, anything I can save on my own goes towards our annual trip to Disney.

My goal is to pay for the extras after the intial trip is paid for. I make envelopes for daily room tips, restaurant tips, luggage fees, hoppers, spending money, etc. As I save my change and get $5, I take it to the bank and then I put the money in an envelope. I usually start with room tips and luggage fees. Small successes are very encouraging! I saved $600 this past year and even paid for the deposit!

I'm up to $475 in Amazon & Target g.c. from Swagbucks. Although those obviously can't be used to pay for Disney, I'm going to use them for Christmas shopping and in turn, put that amount of cash which I normally would be spending for xmas gifts towards our Disney trip.

What types of people qualify for these sunshine rewards surveys. I would be pretty mad to answer a whole boatload of questions to come to find out I don't qualify!

I just recently put $568 in Visa reward dollars towards my next trip. Took a little less than 3 years to add that up (gas and food purchases). It would be more, but we have another card we use for big purchases that earns us airline miles. That one's getting us to Europe and back free next year.

i just did a survey Friday on sr and it did not credit. that was 20 mins of my time., i like swagbucks. my survey, my points, check out those sites. with sunshine rewards you have no recourse if a survey does not qualify or credit

I've got close to $800 in Disney visa points and we're not going until 2012 so I've got aways to go!
We both took advantage of the $200 gift card, so that gave us huge jump right off. We'll use the rewards for tickets, food and souvenirs if we stay at SOG as planned.

I'm really impressed by how much some of you have accumulated. Between MyPoints ($100 Rainforest gcs), QuickRewards ($100 Disney gcs), Inbox$$ ($30), Discover ($20 gc), and Disney Visa (about $75), I feel like I've done a good job in my limited time. I'd love to earn a bit more but November is coming quickly, and I am back to work in 2 weeks.

Another Sunshine Rewards fan here! I just checked and I have $1,040 in my account that I plan to use for my May Disney trip plus I have another $61.00 sitting in my SR account. Once that account reaches $100, I cash out to paypal and then transfer the money into my bank account and let it earn interest. I usually qualify for the greenfield survey every day and IF I have time I will try and take another survey. I have my whole family trained that they check SR before they make an online purchase. My 8 year old daughter will even look in a store and ask if we can go home and make the purchase online with free shipping so that I can get the SR money and the points because I charge the purchase with my Disney credit card. Love Sunshine Rewards!

Well, we just went to Disney in April for spring break. I used up all of my accumulated rewards for that trip. Since then, here's where I sit for next year....

AMEX rewards: $300
Disney Visa Rewards: $84
MyPoints: Enough for a $75 Marriott and a $25 Hyatt GC
Sunshine Rewards: $364

We're going to Hilton Head Island (using DVC points) and my trip budget is about $1500. In just 4 months, I have already earned over half of that in rewards alone:banana:. Although I also put $50 per paycheck into our vacation savings account, I am trying to earn enough rewards to take a *free* vacation. Boy, would that be fun!

We do the DIsney Rewards card and earn quite a bit from that because we put ALL monthly expenses on it and then just pay it off at the end of the month every month.

I do mypoints and just signed up for swagbucks but those i dont usually use for our trip but just things we need.

I just received a $500 Disney Gift Card from Sunshine Rewards and I have a $50.00 Landry Gift Card (My Points) that we plan to use at Yak & Yeti (RIP Pho.) I have over $300 in Disney Rewards...but as I've been buying Disney Gift Cards at the grocery store to maximize the 3% reward's promo...I think I'll let them accumulate until next year. I also save change, do rebates and do a few survey programs, halfheartedly.

Can somebody explain to me what the 3% rewards promo on buying gift cards at the grocery store is? TIA.

As with any of the survey companies- through Sunshine Rewards or other sites- qualifiying for a survey is going to depend on your demographics. It's just going to come down to what type of person that survey is looking for.

If you are getting kicked out of surveys after 15 or 20 minutes, you might want to take it a little slower. A lot of these surveys have quality assurance type things set up to make sure they are getting good answers. Some will kick you out if you are going too fast (ie not reading thoroughly in their opinion) and others may put in a bogus answer or question to see if you are reading. Those things are strictly done by the survey companies- not SR directly.

If you are completing an entire survey to the "congrats" type page and still not getting credit, you might want to check your computer settings. There are lots of discussions on the SR forum about proper computer settings and various issues that might help you.

I routinely take 4 to 6 surveys a day on Sunshine Rewards and receive my credits properly. I think over the past 30 days, I only had one survey that didn't credit- which I think is pretty good considering I took over 150 surveys!

It does take time and persistence, but there is a good earning potential with Sunshine Rewards!

Another Sunshine REwards member here. Been a member since 2006 and have earned almost 3 thousand dollars. Mostly just taking surveys daily and when I need to buy something online, I click through one of their merchants. The most I have taken on one Disney trip with SR is $700. It was fantastic- paid for most of our meals for a week.

We do have a Disney rewards card, but I'm not really using that card much.

I do the 5 point click thrus with mypoints, but have probably only earned $300 in 4 years. Enough for usually a Rainforest cafe gift card for every Disney trip. Sunshine Rewards has WAY better customer service and more surveys to take, so I give them the vast majority of my time/business.

Haven't done any others.

My goal right now is to have $1,000 in Sunshine Rewards Disney gift cards for our August 2011 vacation. I also hope to have $50 in Landry's for Mypoints clicks, and we'll see about the Disney Rewards card.
