How many rewards/gift cards did you earn for one wdw vacation?

I've earned $520.30 at Sunshine Rewards
I try to do a couple surveys a day.
It's great because I know it is my "mickey money". I may try to set aside money from paychecks in savings, but that ends up going towards bills (no fun!)
Through Sunshine Rewards I can cash out for Disney gift cards that I know will go towards WDW!

Anyone know how long it normally takes to get a reward (like a Disney card) mailed to your home from Sunshine Rewards? Just curious how I might do!! :)

I have to agree with SR. That's the one I do the most and love it! They are really nice and helpful over there.

It's usually 6 to 8 weeks to get a gift card after you "cash in" for it.

I just started Sunshine rewards 9 days ago and have already earned $14, I made one purchase and the rest is surveys. I only get to take one or 2 surveys a day, because I can't seem to qualify for more. LOL I love it! I am saving up for a gift card for our trip in March!! I also do MyPoints but sometimes forget to click the emails, probably save up for a restaurant gift card.

Another Sunshine Rewards fan here! I have earned over $1800 in about three years. Most of that is through surveys and online shopping. It's easy to earn more if you have the time - I don't try for all six surveys everyday, but I try to do two or three. You can earn over $4 a day on surveys if you can qualify for all of them and have the time to spend. I've found some great merchants through SR and can also get cash back from merchants I had shopped for years without knowing that cash back was even an option.

I had about $700 in Disney gift cards for our January trip all from SR, plus some Disney Visa points. For our July trip, I had $325 in Disney gift cards from SR and about $240 Disney Visa points. My SR account is up over $100 again, even after being gone on vacation. My earnings will pick up after the kids go back to school and once I start Christmas shopping.

This is the first time I'm really doing any rewards sites to earn $ for a trip. Last trip we had a little over $50 in Disney Visa Rewards; $50 was our bonus for opening the account & we earned a few more $ before the trip.

So far for this trip I have:

- $414 in Disney Visa Rewards
- $25 Disney GC from doing a DVC phone tour
- $614 in a seperate savings account (all gotten from focus groups, rebates, change jar, bottle returns, etc)

I also have $40 in my InboxDollars account, which I'll cash out whatever I have before our trip.

I do MyPoints as well but on there I'm getting B&N GCs to get my partner a nook for her birthday (shh, it's a surprise). I started doing CreationsRewards recently too, but so far haven't even qualified for 1 survey so I doubt I'll get enough to cash out in time for this trip. Oh and Julie has $14 in a Sunshine Rewards account that has been sitting in there forever. I'm trying to get that up to $20 so we can cash out & be done with that one; I know a lot of people love it but we just can't figure out how to actually make $ there.

All of the gift cards are mailed within 4 to 6 weeks of the date you cashout. To be on the safe side, I usually make sure to cash out 6 weeks before I need the cards for a trip! It usually does come quicker though!

I'll have to try Sunshine Rewards - it sounds really good.

For our last trip, I had $750 in Disney Rewards. I had previously cashed out my Disney Rewards, and had already bought 2 7 day Park Hoppers with them, so that was free too.

I had gotten 2 $50 WalMart cards from Mypoints, and used those for the groceries for the week we were there. I had also saved (and dump-picked :lmao:) a ton of Coke points, and used those to buy all of our water and soda for the week.

When I went for my birthday trip last December I had $300 in gift cards from Sunshine Rewards. I used it to do the holiday tour for me and my mother and paid for nearly all my meals. I had a bit left over to add to the birthday fun card (that was part of the Disney promotion) to splurge on some souveniers!
I love that I can do guilt free spending. :cool1:

I usually take $300-400 worth of Disney gift cards on my trips to the world. I go about twice a year. Although I used to participate in several programs, the last few years I have only used Sunshine Rewards. The cards help pay for our food and snack costs. Sunshine Rewards has great customer service and the forums help you with the ins and outs of earning money there. I really don't know what I would do without my Disney cards!!

Another Sunshine Rewards Fan here. I was introduced to this site 3 years ago by my grown daughter. I've never looked back. One of the secrets to success is joining, reading and asking questions in the forum. I work full time and have a lot of activities going on weekends, so I'm limited to the time I can spend doing surveys, but I try to do several each day. I also find shopping through some of the varied merchantsto be profitable. I occasionally do some of the paid offers, but with so many survey offers, I usually don't have time to do them.

What has Sunshine Rewards done for me? I went on a 7 day Disney Cruise last year and completely paid for my portion of the cruise ($1600) with Disney GiftCards earned through Sunshine Rewards. This past February, DH and I went to Florida to visit friends and stopped for our Disney World fix for 3 nights at Port Orleans French Quarter. We used $700 in Disney GiftCards earned through Sunshine Rewards for that trip. Right now, I have $500 in Disney GiftCards in my hot little hands just waiting for another trip, with over $100 built up in my account. (I like to cash out for $250 at a time.)

Someone was concerned about not qualifying for survey demographics. My grown DD does (married with two school-age children), and I do (married with no children left at home.) I, too, have times when I don't qualify for surveys. I usually just come later that day and frequently find more surveys have been loaded. The secret is to be persistent and optimistic. Remember, it's free money!:thumbsup2

Another thing to remember about the surveys is that they are added at various times during the day. So, just because you don't qualify for a particular survey in the morning it doesn't mean you are out of luck for the day. For each of the 6 surveys offered on Sunshine Rewards, you can continue to try until you are qualified and successfully take a survey. On some days, I try in the morning and can't get one, but try later in the day and am successful. And then some days, I qualify for the first one in the morning. It just takes some persistence and time, but definitely worth it! It's a lot easier to say "yes" to those Disney snacks when they are paid for with Sunshine Rewards money!!:)

I started in February of this year and have $918 total in Gift Cards/Reward money. I also have another $90 waiting to be cashed out. I have been using QR, LightSpeed, and Opinion Outpost. I def. make the most money on QR. My goal was $1000 by our November vacation. Looks like I made it. :) Time for a new goal...

Question for everyone:

Can you do a survey on Sunshine Rewards (say Greenfield) and there do the same survey company of QR and get paid for both? Or do you have to choose one site to do the survey on?

I don't know how you guys make so much on QR and SR. I tried both and gave up after a couple of weeks. I wasn't making hardly anything. How much time do you spend per day doing those sites? Admittedly, I'm not a huge survey person and don't like to spend 10+ minutes doing a survey. I make the majority of my $$ on Swagbucks with a little boost from iRazoo (about $10/mo. in Amazon) and MyPoints ($10 every couple months) and Inboxdollars (started in Feb.or March, have $26 so far).

I would like to get into either QR or SR so I can get some Disney g.c. Which one is best for someone like me who doesn't do surveys??

Thanks so much for the informatiom rumrunnergirl. :) I wasn't sure what the rules were with the surveys. I will stick with QR since I have been so successful there. I don't want to worry about figuring it all out!

I haven't tried buying stuff online through QR yet. I need to start doing that too for even more rewards!

2008 Disney Magic cruise had enough Disney Visa rewards to pay the tips for our family of five.
2010- Just back and used $900 Disney Visa rewards to pay for all of our meals and souvenirs.

Might try SR now, how much time is involved?

I started SR last September and then I got discouraged when my job went to part time and we weren't going to be able to make it back to Disney this year... so I had cashed out for $75 in a gift card.

But I just came back and am more than eager to get as many gift cards as possible, to put a down payment on Disney for next year :)
