How many resorts do you have left to try???

We have been steadily making our way around since 2002. The only time we've stayed at the same resort twice was at ASSp. It was a very last minute trip. I booked at 5pm and we checked in at 10 pm (the same day). I did book ASMu over the phone. When we arrived, they informed me that we were at ASSp!!! So, we did not mean to stay there twice adn so still ahve to stay at ASMu (at least one night).

So, here's the list of places we still need to try:

ASMu

POR (have ressies for Sept)

BWI (have ressies for concierge for Thanksgiving)
GF
YC
CR


OKW
SSR
FW Cabins (not sure about this one)

Just curious to see how many are like us I know some prefer the same resort over and over (nothing wrong with that).

I haven't stayed at AKL, YC, GF, Poly, SSR, ASMovies, Pop. Out of those I want to try YC & GF. I'll skip Movies and Pop. AKL, Poly and SSR will only try if I were to get a rate that I couldn't pass up.

We tend to go back to the same place, can't seem to get away from the Poly, lol. It's hard when you know you love a resort to put that much money on the line and try someplace new. We are trying BWI in August, but back to the Poly in December I would love to stay at the GF, BC and WL. DH wants to try GF RPC in December, but it's so expensive! Maybe another trip.

Here are the ones we haven't tried:

Animal Kingdom Lodge - would like to try it, but it feels far removed. We want to perhaps try it for a quickie, long-weekend type of trip if they have a good concierge AP rate so we can do the sunrise safari.

Pop Century - Won't try it. Not interested in Value resorts

POFQ or Riverside - Might try it someday, not sure.

Boardwalk - would like to try some day

Old Key West - would be interested in renting points perhaps and giving it a whirl

Fort Wilderness Cabins - have always wanted to try it, never have because we always chicken out. We're afraid we'll feel too far removed

Dolphin - will definitely try some day - we've stayed at the Swan and we really liked it.

Okay, all this said, we're going 7/2-7/9 and we've booked the Beach Club. It'll be our third stay there. We have a hard time tearing ourselves away from YC/BC and the Poly. So who knows if/when we'll try any of these.

The only other resorts I want to try are YC, WL. Oh and Poly, but only if they renovate. The other resorts don't appeal to me. I like the location of CO but it looks way too old for me to actually want to stay there.

I've stayed at the ASSP, GF, YC, WL, POR, POFQ, Poly, POP and I will stay at the ASMU in July.
So I need to try AKL, ASMO, BC, BWI, CBR, CSR CR, FW cabins, SSR and OKW. Oh and the Swan and Dolphin.
I am anxious to try the CR once the rooms are re-done and while the FW cabins are not my cup of tea, we are thinking of going with my brother, his wife and my nephew in a year or two and I think the cabins would be great as they love the outdoors. I do not foresee trying the CBR or the CSR, but you never know.

Hope to stay at WL and try Swan and Dolphin.
I also hope to try those DTD resorts that aren't really disney, but kind of are. ( I don't really understand it though)...Whyndam, Grosvnor, Disney Hilton. Sometimes you can get this for the same rate as a Value, and I think they offer a little more and they are close to DTD which is a plus.

Never stayed at any values, but may be doing one in the spring for Spring break with my sister,,,we'll see!

We stayed at the FW Cabins a lot when I was a kid. There were 2-3 bunk beds and a murphy bed, as well. I would compare it to the value resorts, but with your own kitchen.

We have stayed at all of the value resorts.

We have stayed at POFQ and CSR for the mods, so we still need CBR and POR.

We have yet to try any deluxes or home away from home, but we are going to try to get WL this Dec. If we can't get that, then maybe BWI or POR.

I am definitely trying to work our way around to all of the resorts. The monorail ones will probably be last though due to the cost.
