how many points for Jan. 2005?

I did not receive my 2005 points schedule from Member Services. They are sending it, but I am just wondering if someone could check theirs for me. I want to plan a trip for Jan 2005. We want to stay from SAturday to Friday during the low-season. Can someone give me the dates for that time frame and tell me how many points it will be for a 2BDR? The calculator on here does not have 2005 available yet. Thanks!

If you have the Vacation Planner book, it has combo point charts for 2004 & 2005. Points for the entire month of January are Adventure Season and are the same every year. You'll need to adjust points for the shifting of Friday & Saturday year to year. If you want to narrow down your resort and/or room size choices, I could give you the actual point requirements.

I edited my post when I realized I forgot to say we would need a 2 BDR. We are bringing our parents and our new little one for his first disney trip! We are thinking about the 15th through the 22nd.

DH cleaned up the file cabinet and now I cannot find anything DVC related other than the bills.

We are probably going to stay at BCV, since that is our home resort and we really like it. But DH has mentioned wanting to stay at VWL, so I'll probably just book once he makes up his mind. We are going to leave on Friday and that will cut one weekend night off the total, but the points look like they will be same at both of those resorts. Thanks for your help!

What resort?

You can use the link at the top of the page for "DVC Points Chart" if you don't have your member guidebook handy. It's an easy look up.

As Pam said, the entire month of January is Adventure season. If you are going for an entire week just use the number of points listed for a week.

BCV (and BWV Preferred or VWL) will be 30 points each night Su-Thu and 60 points each for a Friday or Saturday night. BWV Standard is 24/51 SSR is 27/54 and OKW is 22/54.

Except for the exact dates for Thanksgiving and Easter- the point charts for the DVC resorts have not changed since each resort opened- except for OKW and that hasn't changed since 1996.

For a January trip, you can use last year's chart (or the year before ... or the year before that ... or ...)
