How many points do you own?

We own 404 points. We first bought 180 at AKV then added 25 AKV and 199 at BLT about a year and a half later. Why the odd number? It gives us enough to go to AKV in value season every year in a 1 bdrm Savannah view and then 2x in three years to BLT during Magic in a 1 bdrm lake view.

I'm really loving the flexibility of all these points! However, DH just said to me the other day that we probably are going to end up with more before it's over. That's not in the near future, though.

We own 755 pts. all at OKW. Our plan each year have been to go in spring and fall for 11-13 days each time in at least a 1 bedroom. We run low on pts only because we are taking friends all the time. We bought in 93 and have enjoyed our annual trips.

Then bought two 100 point conracts at AKV, then added another 110.

What's scary is we use all of them every year, in fact we're always borrowed ahead.

Early in 2009, we purchased the minimum 160 point contract at BLT. While at Disney the end of the same year, we added on the minimum 50-point add-on at BLT. So, that totals 210. I can't really think about what we will do with the points right now, because we banked and borrowed to have enough for a 7-night cruise in November 2010!! It will be awhile before I will try to figure out what our 'next" DVC trip will be!

our biggest regret is not adding all on at BWV, since that's our favorite (SSR
2nd fave).
we usually rent out the BCV points, but will prob sell them in the future (simply do not care for the resort). wish we could just trade resorts....

I have 180 at SSR and purchased 100 at BLT which was partially funded by a 70 point SSR contract sale for a grand total of 280. I've considered purchasing a few more to get to an even 300 but I'm still banking way too many points each year to make it worth my while (not a complaint).

These threads always make my single self feel points-poor.

We have 935 total points with ownership at SSR, AKV, BLT, VGC, BCV. I know we would love to add a few more but need to save SAVE SAVE. We would love to buy resale at BWV and VWL as well as add a few more points at AKV and buy into the new Hawaii resort.

Hi - I'm sure there is a thread on this but I was wondering how many points do people on the dis boards own. Also, what amount is considered a lot? What is average? I have 330 and was wondering about where that fell in? (of course, I am always looking to add on!). Missy

We own 1,410 at SSR & OKW. We don't think that is a lot but some might. We use most between family and friends. My sister-inlaw was a cast member in 2004 and got a discount on top of Disneys discount when SSR was selling. Added OKW on resale at good prices in 2004 to total the 1,410. We rent to help with the dues each year.
