How many Points do you have?

We just bought in this spring for 150 points. Wife and I have been having an ongoing discussion about how many more points (if any) we may have in the years to come. I know some of you out there have much more than 150, so if you don't mind sharing, how many points do you have, or have you had in the past?

What's the most points you've had??

180 for a family of 5, but oftentimes DH will not join us so a studio will work. I do plan to add on just b/c I hope to frequent more than just our yearly trip. Waiting to see what happens with CRV as well. I think it depends alot on your frequency of visits and how many are in your family.

We bought 150 points in VWL direct from Disney to start. We now have 450 points, 300 at VWL and 150 at AKV. Our usage will show us if we need more. I am not sure at this stage that we do.

We own 625 points. Not sure if we are going to but any more in the future. We own two other timeshares and we only have so much vacation time.

We own 150. That allows our family of 4 three 7 day vacations every 2 years. It is enough for us.

We have 200 pts. for a family of 6. This will allow us 1 family trip and one mom and dad only trip a year. I am sure we will add more, maybe at Vero Beach or the Contemporay.

We have 607 points for a family of two (no kids!). We're in a holding pattern until they start selling CRV.

We started with 300 SSR points and added on an additional 150 at AKV. I figured 450 would be enough, but I've already got another case of add-on-itis and the funny part is that I thought it would NEVER happen to us when we first bought in.

So we'll be at 275 for a while and might sell the 100 at VWL later on.

We bought 294 for Saratoga a couple of years ago. We go for 20 nights in late Sept/early October. We just bought (this week!) 338 points at Boardwalk for 20 nights in February. DH is retired; I work parttime and am able to take six weeks off a year. We stayed at ASMo for years before buying DVC. We love it!!

We started w/ 230 OKW added that yr 70 OKW, added 70 VB, SSR added, SSR added following yr total 520. We are thinking of adding since we decided to decline 15 yr. addition to OKW. 230 allowed 2 bdrm vacations, no problem twice a yr. extra pts. came in handy for member cruises.

We originally bought 150 SSR. Then almost immediately did 128 SSR. Then sold 128 SSR to buy 90 BWV.

So had 150, then 278, now 240.

I started with 150 at SSR and did an add on of 75 within a year. I recently sold my add on to buy into GCV when it goes on sale. So now I'm back to my original 150.

We bought 200 at BCV in 2002 an added 120 in 2006 at SSR. I really want to add more and am really thinking about AKV but we are adding on to our house so have to really weigh this one out!

We started with 165 at SSR, planning to go every other year. We started going much more frequently and I kept thinking about how much I love BW, so we did a 150 pt resale there. I turned down the Friends and Family promotion but couldn't resist 50 more BWV points available from Disney. Then we added 100 at AKV, for a total of 465. No trouble using them all so far, with 9 days in a 2 br in Jan, 4-5 days in Oct for F&W and sometimes a week in spring. We've also used points to cruise, to see if we liked it. If I had the cash, I'd buy enough to always stay in a one bedroom.
