How many PM's are in your mailbox????

I USED TO be able to have 10, 11, 12 pm's in my mailbox here on the DIS!!!

Today I tried to PM a DISer and (with ONLY 4 pm's in my mailbox) I was told I could NOT use the PM feature until they were cleaned out...

I deleted ONE making THREE left...still NOPE, I could not send out a PM until there were ONLY 2 left in my mailbox....

Has there been a change in the PMing feature of the DIS that I was not aware of... I like to keep allot of those PM's for future reference...

Am I doing something wrong!

MODS: Please feel free to move this over to the TECH BOARD but I really wanted to hear from other DISer's!!

How many PM's have you sent???

If you have them still in the "sent messages" file, I believe that counts towards the total, you'll have to delete some of those too!!!

I bet you have a full "sent" folder. Up at the top right of the screen under your user name it should tell you how many PM's you have, and it includes the sent ones.

OMG OMG OMG...I did not even know about THAT feature and I just looked at it and there are 118 SENT MESSAGES....YIKES...I better get busy cleaning...huh!!!

I had the same problem on another board before!!! Thats the only reason I knew!!!

I was down to KEEPING only 4 RECEIVED and I thought that is what needed cleaning...YIKES...so now I have deleted so many of my DIS friends PM's thinking THAT is what needed cleaning when in essence it was the ones I SENT OUT....now I am at myself....

Mine are mostly all those Boo's I sent out.

hmmm this is the first time I have ever cleaned out my pm's and I only had 25 recieved and 11 sent. Guess I don't pm or get pm'ed much.

My problem is OT...I spend too much time stating something OT on a Thread that we start PMing each other....

It can be anything from something in their siggy or a photo they posted and next thing you know I AM OFF TOPIC !!!!

But I will say I love PM's because they are so much more personal than posting back and forth on a Thread...you really get to know DISer's when you are PMing them!!!

I currently have 5 PM in my folder. Last week when I was having trouble putting the jumping pumpkins in my signature I had like 12!

I have 45, and am sending at the moment.. Oh, check your sent folder. Delete those too.
